**** that I'm not going to Harvey Nics land a few days before Christmas to get done over 2 or 3 nil.. Family time now **** Hull City!.
We have a team battered by injuries, clearly not fit enough with a poor preseason and presided over by a clueless head coach for five months and posters are moaning at us getting beaten 1-0 by a rough tough well drilled Colin side!!! Seriously what did you expect? What score do people think it would have been with slutsky in charge?? Well done nige stemmed the flow of goals into our net. Get some of the walking wounded back in and we'll be reet.
That was awful game for both teams and what else to tell. Probably it was most modest attacking performance for Hull City (except miracle game vs Barnsley) (IMAO).
Disappointing result, but not a bad score if that's makes sense. Listened to the halfwit on Viking for the first thirty, then had to turn it off... Classic lines: 'theres some people on the edge of the box', followed five minutes later by 'oh my god, that was nearly a goal' with no idea why it was nearly a goal...
I reckon we'd have lost 4-2 if Sluts was at the tiller. Rather an irrelevant question. I'm sure Nige will get it sorted but we can only comment on what we've just seen.
Just shows how many daft ones there were if we all have different favourites. For me, Aina hit the daftest one.
You can have a field day with how **** we are, Injury prone unfit squad that results in Hector playing as a holding midfielder. This season is a total right off
Played decent first half went off second, Frazier missing was a big loss. Hitting the post if that goes in its a different game instead they score an offside goal and at the end of the day that's the difference. You go away to second top of the league and lose to a disputed goal but that's how it goes sometimes, I liked the fact we looked more solid but disappointed we didn't create more, we need some of the injured back because we do lack that a bit of quality which would win a game like this. It will take time with a new manager to change things and we all know he will have to strengthen in January but overall thought we looked much better organised.
Apparently Cardiff have a load of injuries. But we won't count them, same as not counting late goals conceded by other teams. A lot of of our fans sneer at Warnock but it is a good bet that with him in charge we would be a lot better placed than we are.
What is apparent is how of late we have become a hoof it forward team. Macgregor wasn't doing that early in the season and whats worse is, we don't even have a target man. We've scored goals through playing through teams (and they've scored by walking through us) but now it seems we're hit and hope. We don't even pick up second balls as the space between say Dicko tonight and the next line is taken up by their players. What sort of coaching is that!!!?
Cardiff today and Bristol the other week summed up exactly how piss poor this league is. They are not very good. If we weren't as weak as piss defensively, we'd be in and around the top 6.
Teams don’t get it forward to win the first ball, they do it to pick up second balls higher up the pitch. We did that quite well in the first half then went off the boil.
Not as many as us. Injuries are beginning to take their toll on this City outfit and Adkins revealed on Wednesday night as many as 17 squad members were struggling with injury. “Fraizer picked up a knee injury in the last game,” he added. “We’ll treat it conservatively and take it from there. On Wednesday evening we had 17 players unavailable for selection. “We’re going to have to make changes for every game going forward. We had a couple of players out there who probably wouldn’t have played in an ideal world.” I'd take warnock If he'd been available in the summer or when we sacked slutsky. agreed.
I was hacked off immediately after the game as at times we looked v negative. But having seen Dicko's shot actually hit post - v unlucky - and that their goal was offside, I think we were unfortunate. Funereal game for the most part though.
