Crowd on his back won’t help matters though and he has to be better than Lonergan. His distribution is good and there are worse keepers in this division.
If we win next week we go 6th, may not be playing well but grabbing the points and that's what counts.
Don’t care if he has the silky footballing skills of scumronaldo he is a **** goalkeeper and we possibly have the worst two in the division. Silvestri was crap this bloke is worse.
I know you believe in the table doesn’t lie... Felix before today had the third highest percentage of clean sheets in the Championship
How many fixtures until the transfer window closes in January - no point ruining anybodies confidence before then - least of all the keeper who just starting to rebuild some. We're in 7th place 1 point away from our target of a top 6 finish - not ruling out strengthening in January but it won't be panic buying or buying for the sake of it based on everything they've said and can't say I'd argue with that
That QPR goal was just a freak, clearly hit the line and looped up, I saw chalk!! And also Phillips should've been defending the corner in our box and covering by the halfway line at the same time
At this stage of the teams development points are more important than performance, this should develop confidence and enable the team to play with the flair we have seen glimpses of. Grot is a young lad and getting on his back will not help. I think it would pay to give him game time at a lower level and give him a chance to score some goals to restore his confidence. He should not be considered for the first team uhtil he is bursting for another chance. Thomas is right this squad has the potential to be a much better team than results suggest.
Is anyone watching citeh Feck knows what game they are playing. It doesn’t look like the same game anyone one else is playing.
