That would be a good move, or Cibicki behind Alioski on right, be some good overlapping and a chance for Alioski to attack the goal more....
Agreed about the choke, but that comes down to coach imo, but we are in the process of clearing our throats...
I think today proves a point many of us probably already knew. This is a very poor championship with Wolves being the only exception. There will be two extremely average sides promoted in May with Wolves. Hopefully our great leaders have the balls to speculate properly in January and try and ensure we can nab one of those places on offer
Well Ristac it would not of been Grot!! a good captain would have told Roofe and the rest of the team not to be selfish when clear through, but Cooper is not a leader in my books. I would have given Roofe a rocket from the touch line and let the rest of the team hear it, maybe then Saiz would of passed to his right (cannot remember who the player was) when he was through. So left it pretty much same as, maybe Cibicki for Hernandez and that would have been it, but taking the attackers off and Pennington on was not the answer. Please Ristac do not say that Grot is an attacker!!!
Just on the way back. I have no idea how we can play so badly and keep getting results. We were second best just about all over the park. Three more wins and we are safe... Pritchard tore our defence a new one and on a normal day would have had a hatful. Still don’t see us in the playoffs without a 30% improvement on today’s standard.
Okay, none of us know the thoughts or reasons behind the substitutions but the bottom line is we won, we kept a clean sheet and no key players got injured. Do you know the players won’t get a talking to regarding failing to pass? Bawling out a player in front of the world to see is debatable. Just an alternative opinion... Cibicki his first start, he needed to come off, Hernandez sub was a good move. Roofe was under performing, we have no alternative up front with Lasogga and Ekuban out, Thomas closed the game out with the tools he had at his disposal ensuring a couple of key players were rested towards the end of a cold afternoon and the start of a busy period.
Just spoken to my mates at the game, they said it was very scrappy and could have gone either way but our chances were equally as good. Couple of additions in January and who knows, this is our first genuine season of building for a brighter future in a dozen years, it’s far from perfect but we’re getting there. I tried watching that feed but the cracked screen, the camera moving away, the glare were too much
Just got back poor game but 3 points more worried about Christiansens claims we don't need to sign anyone in January and weildwald being one of the best keepers in the league. If the guy really believes this we are in trouble listened to popey interview him on the way home and I think I've been to another match by mistake.
Trying to build team morale and confidence maybe? The saves looked good on the replays https://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/spo...s-united-1-norwich-0-player-ratings-1-8914111 Player ratings
The parrys back into play are something he should have learned to avoid in his sabbatical. Twice today the flapping twat went down in instalments and gifted them good chances.
