KAG always had “something”. But you have to turn “something” in to an end product. Now he’s doing that, long may it continue.
https://www.met.police.uk/applyregister/met-christmas-appeal/buy-a-present/ This isn't meant to sound self righteous - but this is a wonderful initiative. I popped in to Peckham police station earlier and they made mention the fact it hasn't had the success they imagined. Not just for Peckham, but overall.
This is the first I've heard of it, surprising considering the rocketing number of homeless children and children in poverty. I can actually remember when there were no beggars on the street, although the rest of you on ere are probably too young to remember it.
I had not heard of this either. I can understand if they don't want to spend a lot of money advertising it, but couldn't some other branches of the Civil Service help them to spread the word?
Clinton Morrison on Sky Sports News now commenting on the Manchester derby. Am I the only one who thinks he should go to elocution lessons before he is allowed back on?
He seems to sneer quite a bit when he talks, which I find rather unsettling. Be gone, Clinton, be gone.
“The only team in the country to have scored more goals than Pep Guardiola’s side” https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...1/luton-nathan-jones-credit-notts-county-draw Nathan Jones making the headlines
Not surprising. He was revered by the young players at Charlton. Not surprising that he left Charlton under Roland.
Good to see Alex Dyer keeping up the link between Charlton and Kilmarnock by helping Steve Clarke bring about a Kilmarnock revival.
Are you watching Sky Sports Leicester v Palace at the moment ? Possibly the two most inarticulate ex pros in the universe as pundits - Heskey & Clinton Morrison. Pure Political Correctness getting them TV work - they are morons.
Clinton was decent I thought - and I hate saying that. He’s not camera shy, and clear in delivery. Not offering much insight, but he’s better than a lot of the dross.
The lights have gone out at Stoke. Both of their generators have failed, so the 'Bet365' Stadium has no power. 30,000 fans are left standing around outside the ground. Not very impressive.
Betting syndicate saboteurs or terrorists - nobody should be getting anywhere near the generators at a football stadium. If it was sabotage that should trigger an urgent security review at every ground in the country.
There were a series of floodlight failures at different grounds back in the early eighties I think it was. When it happened at The Valley it was discovered to be sabotage, and was traced to a Chinese betting syndicate placing side bets on the matches which had to be abandoned. I was at the match at the Valley, and IF I remember right they managed to repair the floodlights and restart the game eventually.
