Sometimes you may find a member of a forum, this or another teams, that you dont like for lots of reasons. It may help you to enjoy this frum more if you simply self mod that member and ignore. Click on profile. Then settings on the left halfway down click edit ignore list type in user name of person you want to delete Any articles or comments from that member will not be seen again by you.
Funny you ask but no, I dont need it, if there is something I dont like I just dont read it. Some are more sensitive, not from our club mind.
Badgers a canny kid, i know him a bit away from the boards. He's a proper fan, every game home and away, and he feels the turmoil a bit, and gets thrown of kilter,it's because he's passionate like we are, that's all. We've all been there lads
if he is going to be a moderator he needs to play it cool like our syd, i am sure he's a nice kid but he must not let his undoubted passion for his club get in the way of his job as a moderator. remember the mods on the bbc they where anything but fair and unbiased and deleted some posts apparently without reason. lets not go back to that.
Give him a chance lads, it ain't easy being a moderator, Syd seems the well balanced sort, no extreme views one way or the other and has self control, Badger will learn in time if he really wants to do it. Try walking a mile in their shoes before you criticise too much...................................... then at least you would be a mile further away and have a pair of shoes!!
I think in the lads defence he's been getting bombarded off his own to mod this mod that, he's let a lot of stuff go the other lads have told him to shift. There's some good lads toon-side, who i love bantering with, and then there's some thick twats who know nowt but say too much, this applies to both sides though. I normally find the one's who gob off and clearly know nowt, are easily taken down, the ones who have some nouse, i enjoy the battles with, and vice versa i'm sure. I'm offf now to the home of football to see us complete the double over the reigning champions(i ****ing hope, after posting this!) I'm sure this board will be lively when i return shortly after 10!

All good points from Syd. I think the point of these forums is to see what like-minded individuals think & have some banter with less enlightened souls. from the old 606 site even some of the Toon lads were interesting to read (even if you disagreed with most of what they said). Even some of the Wum threads were alright if you were bored. We're all adults & unless somebody is properly offensive give them a wide one ??????
I was having no conversations with you my friend. You were annoying fellow members who had complained about you. I warned you on many occasions but you kept on going, I reported you and you got banned. Simples. Nice to see some people sticking up for me, I'm not a bad person, honest.
