looking forward to this one. Five thirty kick off in the boozer. Well played to all traveling down there today. Safe journey. So is the boss reallly struggling with an injury hit team or are they all back? Whatever I like his style, comes across as a decent man. Win lose or draw I think we'll see a more organized and composed team today. Win, lose or draw it'll be better. Warnock s got a lot of injuries too but whatever his team will battle to the end. We have to match that fight or,we'll be beaten. Expect Growshitski to get a few kicks, hopefully the ref will be onto it and Larsson will be in the refs ea about it. Mcgregor Tomori Dawson Mazuch Aina Toral Meyler Larsson Irvine Campbell Growshitski We might sneak it 2-1 but I'd take a draw right now. **** it were moving on from the "B"s to the C's we win 2-1.
Nige has had a week to sort our defence out. He will play to our strengths and not try to force a system unsuited to our players onto our players. We're on a high from the win last week. We have more than capable forwards who can kick the ball into the onion bag. All in all, my gut feeling is that this is the week, and the start of a record breaking (for us) run of dominance and wins. Herein starts a run of regulation 4 nowts for us. You Ull.
All ready last week the defence looked better organised, Dawson and Mazuch played closer together when defending, which is how it should be. Have a feeling we might come away with a point, let's hope we can take the smile (Smirk) off Colin face.
Cardiff are ****. We’ll win again whatever team Nige puts out. Warnock is a ****. Wolves looking all cocky & smug up at the top need to be glancing over their shoulder, The Tigers have regained their appetite after being led astray by some Slut & are back on the prowl. Clean sheet & a couple for Campbell. Comfortable 2 nowt.
Where now approaching the festive season, which like easter has a tendency to throw up some surprise results, so hopefully City will start the ball rolling with grabbing 3pts tonight.
Match facts Cardiff have failed to keep a clean sheet in any of their last eight league matches against Hull (W1 D2 L5). Hull have won their last three league games against Cardiff by an aggregate score of 8-0 - they won most recently 2-0 at the KC Stadium in January 2016. Neil Warnock has collected three points from a possible 24 in his last eight league meetings with Hull (P8 W0 D3 L5), facing them with four different clubs in that time (QPR, Crystal Palace, Leeds and Rotherham). Since joining the club in January 2017, no Hull City player has been involved in as many league goals as Kamil Grosicki (13 - six goals, seven assists). Hull have lost nine points to goals conceded in the last five minutes of Championship games this season - five more than any other side. Cardiff, meanwhile have won four points from goals scored in the final five minutes with only Bristol City and Ipswich winning more (5). Nigel Adkins hasn't faced Neil Warnock since October 2012, when his Southampton side faced Warnock's Leeds in the League Cup at Elland Road - Leeds won 3-0.
Ok so I haven't wanted to interfere with previous managers but I feel I should give Nige some advice. To clarify I really really good at Football Manager 2013 (handheld edition). I won promotion as Champions with City in my first season as well as both the cups. In my second season I won the premiership and both cups and in all 23 seasons since I won the EPL, champions league and all cups. So I feel I'm qualified to help out. If he follows this simple tactic we'll walk promotion this season AND win the FA cup. ok here goes. After every match, if you loose, DON'T save your progress! Exit the game and reload from before the match. Simples! Sure you may need to play 250 games a season but you can't loose.
the hdm says nigel adkins has a message for us which will delight us all. turns out the message is that we get to keep the chelsea slackers all season. has that delighted anyone at all, or is it just me that thinks they're all short on spine and skill?
Someone just Tweeted that they saw Meyler driving through Cottingham this morning, so he doesn't appear to be there today.
He was injured and I'd give him a bit longer even if fit. Xmas period is going to be hard anyway without all our injuries.
That **** in the wheelchair singing in the Paddy Power advert on Sky gets right on my ****ing wick end. Someone needs to give him a dry slap in the chops & tell him to shut the **** up. Just needed to get that off my chest.
