going to have to disagree. Firmino was 6 yardss out (admittedly bad angle but keeper scrambling across). Salahs was pretty much a free header 6 yards Oxo took 1 or 2 touches when he was 1 on 1 (deffo sitter) Solanke had an open goal to hit first time and then after 1 or 2 touches (can't remember) he had to pass it through 3 defenders (no keeper) All pretty much sitters
I knew someone would say that. Its a valid point in a sense but if you dig deeper into the stats Leicester were scoring loads of goals and not letting in that many, they were genuinely a top team. Burnley aren't conceding but they are scoring at an average pace of less than 1 goal per game, I'm not aware of any side with that sort of scoring record going on to do anything special in a season.
your idea of a sitter & mine is clearly different - mine means you should score minimum of 9 out of 10 and not sure any meet that criterea
maybe.... look by all rights if they get 60 points they can be celebrating and rightly so... but.. if they can keep it up they might get a few more. my view is this. I would be a lot more comfortable with them well back in 7th than them taking Europe off us for next year if the wheels come off for us. 4th is the best we can do but I still think we are ill equipped for the run in. we are mo salah better than last year tbh... it gives hope
worry not my fellow red men for Christmas i give you 6 points and a happy New Year. or as our esteemed resident ghost Greez once said We'll ****ing smash em !
According to the stats, in the last 11 matches we only won by scoring 3 goals or more. We have never won by scoring less and in those matches we've drawn. We've only lost to big boys: City and Spurs and by big margins. Like all stats you put your own interpretation. Does this mean we are flat track bulies, who like in real life, tend to smash those kids who don't stand up to us but get demolished when faced with a bigger kid? If a smaller team refuses to do our bidding and stands up to us, we can only draw. Which will Bournemouth be this weekend? If they play their usual game: 0-3 or 4 to us. If they do a 11 behind the ball and couldn't give a damn about entertainment, then 0-0.
That’s incredibly arrogant. They currently are most definitely a rival to you, and we’re nearly at the halfway point of the season.
No way. If we win it will be by 4-1 or more. I've watched some of the highlights of their match against the mancs. They fancy themselves as a footballing team and pass the ball a lot. That could play right into our hands. passes intercepted in midfield will give us opportunities. They are exactly the team we've been having a lot of joy this season.
