I know we all thought we'd miss him but I didnt think maybe this much. If there is one criticism of the team I think we can all make is that it is presently too pedestrian and predictable. We are so lacking in pace it is ridiculous and nobody seems capable of doing the unexpected.

I honestly feel we need to show patience until he is back and then we'll have 2 wingers with different characteristics and a whole new dynamic to the team. And I also know it's 'eggs in basket' time but he really is that integral to the way we play.

Actually, come to think of it - is there anyone we would miss more than Cam if we lost them?

Amen to that. Let us also pray that he comes back as good as he was. Those types of knee injuries often reoccur !

October was mentioned intially but no update since then as far as Im aware. We'll get to 10 games before we see him but if - and it's a big if - he satys fit then that 3 quarters of the season with him.

October I hope pal not sure cz nothing is certain though

I think we're probably still a couple of months away from seeing him back on the field, but you never know and we could certainly do with him.

It'll take half a dozen games for him to get match sharp as well.

I just hope some of the doom mercants on here give him time to find his form.I for one expect him to take quite a few games to start playing anything like he did last year.

    He certainly has been missed.

spot on. i would suggest that it wont be until Xmas that Stewart is back to his best. But for sure having Brady on the left and Stewart on right wings will be a massive improvement. dont rush it though Cammy. but ready when you are.

It'd be wise not to hang all our hopes on him suddenly turning this team around, lest we forget he completely went off the boil in the weeks leading upto his injury with plenty of fans calling for him to be dropped.

Really looking forward to him being back, defenders seem to stand off him and he more times than not gets his final ball into the box. Where, as talented and skillful as Brady is.. he seems to invite the defender right into his space making harder work for himself imo.

I honestly dont think it's even about him personally playing well and his shear presence will alter how teams line up against us. They'll know he's lightning and have to line up with a deeper defence instead of squeezing space, as they know a long ball over the top and he'll do them for pace every time. The compact battle for space we're seeing at present will be massively stretched.

Yeah, the debate in my head was which of those two we'd miss the most. I think it's fair to say Cam is in the top two though!

Suppose its all to do with form, before a ball was kicked this season I bet 90% would have put Fryatt in the top2 players we would miss the most. That figure wont be anywhere near 90% at this minute I wouldn't think

give fryatt a break. he's by far world class but he can do a decent job for us. we didnt pay that much for him considering what others have paid for strikers in this league.

I like Fryatt, he's just not in good form and I dont think we would miss him as much as we would have done last season
