just looking at fixtures: 1. City v spurs. huge fixture. Brighton v burnely. Bournemouth v LFC. Arsenal v newkie. Two of our main rivals for 4th have very winnable games but the best side of the lot of us goes away to city. We MUST win this game. 2. The following week. Arsenal v liverpool. Burnley v tottenham. This is a HUGE match week for the battle for 4th. This is a real moving day where positions will swap and gaps will open up. OR everyone will draw the bare minimum is a draw.
not hard to understand if you are not being an arse we are in the mix but will come up short. I'd rather be in the mix than being nowhere near of course but in the end the squad isn't as good as it needs to be. The #realdata shows we are 6 points worse off than last year right now and are look at that coming out of the top 6 mini table performance. Simply put if we keep losing games to top 6 rivals we will be 6th. I'm still hoping for an arsenal implosion once ozil and Sanchez announce their destinations and wenger out campaign starts. City will win league handily Utd will be 2nd I'm not hopeful of a Chelsea implosion now so they will be 3rd spurs might go on a run once they are out of everything and go higher but imo they are the only team we can catch for 4th and they with thier first team out are better than us.
Be doing us a favour for top 4, so good. When we can get in their position, then diferent story sadly, but for now what we hope for.
should happen. city have to draw sometime. have to lose sometime so spurs are a team who COULD do it but we need i think city to keep marching on.
the best thing would be if we just won the match with a good away performance like we've had reasonably recently
off topic but just saw that Solanke, Oxo, Mane, Salah and Firmino all missed pretty big sitters against WBA. Can't say i'm surprised (well maybe not mane, salahs was with his head and he aint great with it)
firmino did. should have square it to.coutinho to tap in. salah head was difficult I think but other might not agree. mane shot was pish. Solanke didn't know what hit him. so yeah we blew it.
the solanke chance i'm talking about was when Oxo ****ed up and let the keeper tackle him, solanke had an open goal but took some touches and then shot but by then too many defenders got back
yeah that was poor. could have lifted it a bit and driven it. we had the chances to win no question. no complaints.
