Any good games for an about to be 14 teen for Xbox. Here are rules set forth by his Mum (and me) with good reasons: No realistic guns and gun related violence. Laser guns and cartoony guns are OK. All he has listed is M rated FPS (which he has been told he can't get). If he were a typical 14 y/o boy I wouldn't have a problem with that genre, but for him needs to be avoided. (As I said, we have good reasons)
I really like Overwatch. No blood at all and it might be something he’d enjoy? Might be worth looking into
It happened on camera a couple of episodes ago, they just didn't show the actually "thing". I doubt think they rebuilt the character, they focused on the character because of this development. I thought it was obvious tbh.

Very little actually, because he doesn't watch TV. That's not the point though. There is a difference between doing and watching. If he were typical I wouldn't have a problem with it.
Yeah got it mate, it does need polishing. Graphics not great, its booted me out randomly a couple of times. Is there a way to look at your character from the front? You know what I mean? Like when Id put a motorcycle helmet and gas mask on I wanted to see what he looked like but couldnt get the view. And the mirrors in rooms dont reflect either Anyway it is a good game, is it just going to be 1st person only then on final game? I have had some fun on it. I heard a car coming so hit the deck and he parked up and went in a house. I went and nicked his car and as I was driving off he was shooting at me so I turned around and ran him over Last night I got in a car and binned it off the side of a cliff but I got stuck in between two rocks and then this guy found me and ended up killing me, I uploaded that on the Xbox so think you can view it I can understand why the makers of this game are pissed off with Fortnite and their version as its pretty much the same idea (I know there have been other games with the same sort of idea though Ive not played any of them). Ive got up to lever 47 on Fortnite, but not been on since I got PUBG I am enjoying it and it does get very tense, still figuring out what guns best to pick up and all that (like a choice between hand guns, machine guns etc). Crossbow is cool, not killed anyone with it yet though. When is the Dec update for BF1? We'll have to jump on that again as well. Might look into a headset but wont be any time yet, been spending a lot obvs with Christmas and that What is the red zone? Is it where the care package drops? And also the explosions are they just in the red zone as well? Mrs already got me my present as well which is tickets for Download festival next year
I've been smashing it since release so I'll try and answer those questions.... To look around (so important btw) you hold down RB and it lets you pan the camera full circle. For example if you're running but need to look behind you whilst still running hold down RB and move the right stick to pan the camera - you can also pan yourself and see what you look like. The graphics and bugs etc will be ironed out as it's only in Beta stage so far - the PC version currently has 3rd person and 1st person so you can choose what you prefer and play with only people using that. On Xbox at the moment you start in 3rd person and can switch to 1st person by clicking RB once, best to stay in 3rd person though unless aiming a rifle with a 2x or 4x scope as the people in 3rd person have better vision as they can see more. When they add the choice like on PC I'll be doing 1st person only. Also new desert map coming soon, PC has it already (I think). I generally aim in 3rd person with shotguns and pistols and only click on sight aim when using a scoped rifle - to change the way you scope you double tap aim (L2). Headphones are a MUST as the game relies on you hearing where people are soooo much. I played without headphones and it was weird, just random noises from all over the place. The Red Zone is randomised on the map and gets bombed, nowhere else get's bombed, so stay inside or holster all your weapons (hold Y) so you run faster. Red Zone might be getting removed as the feedback is saying it's pointless. The supply drops land in random places too, but are geared towards that game so are likely to land in the busy areas inside the white circle - I've only picked up 2 and trust me it's worth it. Got a LMG and a Sniper and Level 3 armour etc. High reward but high risk. Yeah Fortnite is a blatant copy and still good, I just prefer the realism of PUBG. Tip for cars, rather than shooting the driver (it's a tough shot that) blow the tires and the car will lose control, then kill the driver. Also if you pass a car/bike you don't need just blow the tyres to stop the next person taking it. Tip about aiming with a scope.... if for example you're on the 2nd floor building and aiming across to another building either click R3 or L3 and it'll duck and dive aim. Really useful and I've had a few kills from that. Also don't be worried about landing in busy areas, it's the best way to learn. No point landing miles out and being on your own, looting and walking for 20 minutes to then get shot by the first person you see.... you won't learn anything like that! I'm having a couple of weeks of landing at the school or military base just to practise speed looting and killing, it'll be worth it in the long run. As for the guns... my favourite so far.. Pistols - anything except that revolver type thing. So any of the semi-auto's are fine. Shotguns - I personally like the pump action as you get more bullets, the double barrel ****s you over if you miss! SMG - I think I've only ever had the UMP and that's decent enough with attachments. Assault Rifles - I like the AKM or Scar personally, especially with a 4x scope on it. HUGE tip here - keep your assualt rifles in single shot (or burst) as fully auto just bounces all over the place. With single shot take your time and land 3 shots and you should kill him. Most importantly don't fire until you're 90% confident you'll kill him. When I started I was taking hard kills on and was just getting killed easily! Snipers - Rare guns but the KAR98 is awesome, especially when scoped. Crossbow - So hard to use, I don't even pick it up anymore unless I'm totally empty handed. In early stages I keep a shotgun and a assault rifle if possible. Then when I get down to about 25 players I try and find another rifle or a sniper rifle and get rid of the shotgun. One more thing about guns - the attachments make sooo much difference so as soon as you pick attachment up, attach them. I take it you've got your head around the inventory, took me a while but I'm fine with it now. Have you ever been stunned? If not, try and watch a clip as a stun grenade is so strong... literally totally blind them for 10 seconds. Very useful to get the hang of. A big difference between Fortnite and PUBG is the size of the map, on Fortnite it's fairly easy to stay in the white circle, on PUBG there are times that if you don't have a car or motorbike you just won't survive. So in that sense a car is often your most important find. I'm absolutely loving this game, never played anything like it and can see why it's been smashing records recently. Just needs loads of refinement - which is happening as we speak. Closest I've come is 3rd so a bit of a disappointment I haven't won a game yet - but I'm sure I will soon. I've been playing showing as offline just while I practice. I'm out tonight but maybe Sat or Sun we'll duo up on it and see how we get on. Once the game is properly finished it will be crazy good. Not sure when BF1 update is but yeah I'll definitely play that again to check out the new stuff. Still an hour away from lvl 120 - haven't played since we last spoke! So in a nutshell... get bust dying, it's the only way to learn. Drop in at the school and you'll soon get all the controls etc. nailed. I could go on about this forever

Before PUBG was getting bored of Fortnite and jumped on BF 1 and really enjoyed it Sometimes a break is whats needed
I take it you've changed the server from America to Europe... bit like Fortnite it automatically puts you on USA servers
