Aye, we’d already established where it was, I’d not even noticed it, though I tend to just have these things on in the background while I’m working. I appreciate that some might think it an inappropriate thing to say, but Ehab certainly is a four letter word among most City fans.
I don't disagree with the sentiment, but would I have voiced it in his current position... ...I'd hoped the Trust had learnt this gratuitous **** was not helpful to their aims. Clearly not.
This may surprise some, but the flask thing seriously pissed me off. I mighta mentioned it. This Ehab is a four letter word thing really is not in the same league at all. Not even close. Not sure why such a big deal is being made out of it. Even by Fez.
Have you listened to it? If you were the Allams and were made aware that one of the committee, the Chairman of The Trust, the person who has constantly spoken about mutual respect and the need for measured and meaningful dialogue, had referred to the vice Chairman (your son) as a four letter word worthy of mocking apologising over, what would be your reaction, Happy? Would you laugh along with them? Would you welcome him into your company and shake his hand as if nothing had happened? Would you be happy, Happy. I agree that it's not Flaskgate, as that was a private gift, given to the then Chairman, that inadvertently became social media fodder. Yes it was crass, but a reshuffle saved the Trust from needless harm. This is something done by the current Chairman, not 'off duty' but in full on representation of the Trust on a local radio programme. He didn't make the remarks on RH, but he relaxed on Mill's programme. It was poor judgement, he was representing the Trust. I really do wonder what some would have said if someone from the OSC had said it. The "even by Fez" bit is ****ish; so you haven't changed. Sad lad, Happy.
I think it's fair to say, that if there was to be another name change, 'united' would be the most inappropriate word to add.
Why, because I disagree with you and will explain why? I do have values that I believe in and I expected better of Geoff, the Chairman of the Trust I'm a member of. I've read the flippant remarks on here, but it really isn't a flippant matter if it compromises the sought after dialogue, is it. As for Happy's post, they don't come much more insincere; it's all a part of his latest tactic to wind you all up. It's done, let's see what happens next.
Geoff should simply show his middle finger and leave the meeting. Nothing worthwhile will come from this. When will we ever learn? How long will it take for some to come the realisation, they don't give a **** about HCAFC?
You’re the only one banging on about it ffs. Btw, yes, I’d laugh. Or shrug. I certainly wouldn’t get worked up into the state it’s got you in.
I'm not in a state about it. I'm simply replying to two people posting at me about it. One of those people posted the interview and was unaware of its content. The other seemed to post to have a dig at me. It is what it is: enlightening.
This board has become irrelevant. People here have a much bigger beef with other posters than they do with the Allams. That's a very sad fact.
Why does the board need to be relevant? Relevant to what? It’s a sounding off place. It’s had some good threads and some bad ones. It’s had drama and reflection. We’ve seen the worst of people and also the best. It’s perfectly relevant to being a Hull City fan. Something the other forums never managed.
