Everton v Swansea City Barclays Premier League Date - Monday 18 Decmember 2017 Kick off - 20:00 Venue - Goodison Park, Liverpool Following last night's footballing lesson from Champions-Elect, Man City, Paul Clement's not-so-merry band of journeymen next take on Everton at Goodison Park. The Toffees have been somewhat re-juvenated under Big Sam and they will be relishing a home match against the PL's bottom team. None more so that Gylfi Sigurdsson who will be facing the Swans for the first time since his £45m transfer in the Summer window. The Swans have played Everton on 27 occasions, winning 3, drawing 9 and losing 15. Whilst overall, the Swans' record is poor, it is interesting to note that the Swans' 3 have all come in the last 7 meetings between the clubs, with the other 4 of those last 7 games drawn. Indeed, it is 3 years 3 months since the Swans last tasted defeat at the hands of Everton. In the corresponding fixture last season, the teams drew 1-1. Seamus Coleman's late goal denied Swansea a first victory under manager Bob Bradley, as their winless streak stretched to 11 games. Iceland midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson had put the visitors ahead at Goodison Park with a penalty in the 41st minute. But Coleman scored a minute from time, with a looping header to salvage the draw in what had been a poor Everton performance. Swansea fell bottom of the Premier League after Sunderland's win against Hull moved them two points above Bradley's side - which is where the Swans are again.... Looking ahead to next Monday, I can see nothing other than a comfortable home win by a margin of at least 2 goals, with Sigurdsson on the scoresheet.......
As long as Clement is in charge we won't win another game. If the owners have said he'll get joey in January it might explain why he's given up - easy just to wait pi** money up against the wall on players he doesn't know, won't pick or can't play.
Easy win for us on Monday followed by three more wins before I get back from the Farterland. Should I take Sanchez back to Germany with me? I got room in the boot and if he stinks that out too, I could always strap him to the roof rack. Have a great Christmas guys, see you all in the new year.
For some strange, unfathomable, extraordinary, ludicrous reason I see a 1-1 with Fat Sam spitting his chewing gum out in disgust By the way who or what is he listening to on that earpiece of his not the wife surely!
Palace 3-0 away to the Foxes!! A little while ago they were looking like they'd get cut-adrift any time soon, now look.. We're doomed!!! But don't panic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The fat lady was singing a month and a half ago.... Every single club in trouble saw sense and changed managers and now look at them....We would rather carry on ....Somebody needs to make a statement as to their reasons why we are sticking with the worst manager in the premiership letting the clubs who changed their manager pull away.... palace were 6 points below us a few weeks ago.....We are going down alright make no mistake.....
The other teams are benefitting from having a new Manager, yet we & Stoke are dropping like a stone .....
