    I also remember when channel 4 went on air. Paul coia was the announcer. We could only get channel 4 on a wee black and white portable in the kitchen.

    Nothing but admiration for Peter Kay, he's made an absolute mint just by reminding everyone how mundane and dreary most of our lives were growing up. He's no Lenny Bruce (or Lenny Henry iirc) but still funnier than most.
