Do we play the team that has already beaten 3 premiership clubs to get us to this fixture? Or do we say ‘thanks but the first team will take it from here.....?’ I think we should stick with our cup side tbh - they deserve this game. Besides, we need the ‘normal’ starting 11 for the league campaign - which is more important - we can have them on the bench if the 2nd stream get into trouble. Thoughts?
Play your best team and win. When was the last time we enjoyed this kind of success, so play it for all it's worth. Still have no idea if anyone is carrying the video feed over here so might have to miss one of the most important games in City's history. Perhaps I'll be able to watch some thrill a minute, end to end, curling showdown or perhaps World Series of Poker to fill my time but I'd rather watch the City match. Ah well bah humbug I suppose.
Normal cup side for me, 1/ they got ius there so deserve it. 2/ need best team for league games , which are more important. They can wait till next year when we play Manchester 4 times , the red and blue variety.
