Got some litecoin but exchanged half of it last week for some BTC. Doh! Just bought an Amazon Echo from part of today’s profit though!
Bought 4.3 Litcoin at £40 a few weeks ago. They were £250 at some points yesterday! Same with Bitcoin, I joined the rollercoaster at £5000 (only bought a small percentage of one lol)....over £13k per coin now. Madness. Agreed with Litecoin. Good work - strangely enough I have 4.3 as well! Bought at £65 though, so you've done a bit better! I'm skimming some profit off as and when and treating myself, but long term holding for sure. Am hoping the coin Funfair does well next year - it's a crypto for use for online gambling sites, so you'd imagine the business case is pretty strong. I've got 7,289 of those bad boys! They're worth very little currently, but gone up 30% today alone.
At some point surely the price will just collapse? I know a couple of people who had some and got out around the 15k mark last week, I didn't have any though unfortunately.
Maybe, but I think Crypto is going to be around for a long while. Once they become mainstream, a few will bomb, but 4 or 5 of them will keep going. I could bore you with the technology behind it, Blockchain, and how it can be used for all sorts of things - not just currency but documents, agreements etc, but I won't. I think there will be a correction to the market, but the gains made will be so large that in 5-6 years we still would be in profit. Btw LTL, keep them in a local or offline wallet - the exchanges like Coinbase will get hacked sooner or later and if you look at the Coinbase T&Cs then you can see that they can take your wallet for a few reasons (like gambling etc)
Majority of my stuff in Exodus wallet. I just keep 1 Litecoin in Coinbase (in order to transfer out actual cash).
lol exactly what i do 1 Litecoin in coinbase for 'cash' the rest in Electrum wallet (Got Bitcoin and Ripple as well). Got a hardware wallet arriving tomorrow (Ledger Nano S )
Sorry to hear that Tom. Good luck to him and your family. These days those operations can be excellent though and make massive life improvements.
Best of luck Tom and family. A relative had a quadruple heart bypass and lived for another 15 years. It's scary but these types of operations are much more successful now then even just 20 years ago.
As already said, these days triple bypass ops are routine and have incredibly high success rates. All the best Tom.
The important thing is that there is a treatment. I go to a heart club gym twice a week....many of my fellow gym bunnies have had bypass ops and are there in their eighties lifting weights and going on the treadmill.

****. I knew coming on this thread was dangerous. I've just seen SIS mention something about a programme about metal detecting bringing a tear to the eye. Of course it is about vulnerable people. Real people like us with hopes and dreams, and not having complete control of their lives against upsets and setbacks. It's also about companionship and friends. And I've still got the last episode to come. I almost don't want to watch it because it will bring a beautiful journey to its end.
On tbe upside, Disney are buying Sky off Murdoch. Not that Disney are all peaches and cream, but they're a lot better than that disgusting individual.
