Lennon has admitted that he's trying to bring in a new striker in the next few days.

God knows who it'll be. Probably a loan deal. As long as it's not another ****ing triallist!

I tell you what, if Larsson was willing to put his boots back on and give us 30 minutes every week I would be ****ing delighted.

Then again I wouldn't want his legendary status spoiled playing alongside some of duffers we have now.

I was just thinking there, I remember being on the old 606 on a Friday and one of the main topics of conversation would be who would partner Larsson at the weekend? Would it be Sutton or Hartson?

Now its who will replace Hooper when he's injured? Samaras or Murphy?

    ****ing depressing.

I'm starting to sound like Thomas the Cat <laugh>

It's when you start looking like him you really have to worry.

When did Rasmussen turn from goal poacher to **** in the eyes of everyone?

I only saw him play a few games when he first arrived but looked good, big guy who did most of his work in the box - where we've been struggling the last few games without Hooper.

Didn't he have some 'legal issues' before he was shipped out on loan?

Yep, but he's back now. Few mates saw him in the game v thistle pre-season and said he was dire. I quite liked what I saw of him before he got punted out on loan as well. Same goes for Hooiveld.

Zigic of Birmingham is available at 2 million 6 foot 7 just the kind of striker required for the Scottish game

Probably on about 30k per week. Can't see our board stumping up £2m and big wages.

Expect it to be a loan deal.
