Then later said he was joking but you don't have to show that if you don't want too ha ha He also called DCL and Tom Davies jammy bast Ards in this respect he was correct...
haha i think i'm one of the few that think Niasse did take a dive but that it WAS a penalty. Dann was getting in his way either way without playing the ball. @Tobes @Justovertheline . If you want to see a real dive where it was not a penalty see herrera or jesus at the weekend.
****ing hope not. There's another game tomorrow. There's a difference of opinion and no amount of evidence, argument or mud-slinging will change anybody's mind. It's done and dusted so let's forget it. The ongoing debate, which will rear its ugly head again, is whether or not we think going to ground too easily (by whoever) is an acceptable part of the modern game or cheating. I'm sure opinions will vary according to circumstances.
I can see why it would be given and I think it's harsh but his leg is taken so it's a pen... I probably said at the time no pen though as it's Liverpool Any Liverpool fans think no pen for this one? Not an obvious push though so not really relevant IMO
#nailedon pen for contact from behind in the box Difference with Everton is this contact was decided entirely by the defender, whereas DCL intentionally jumped into Lovren
I don't think it's acceptable myself but the problem is with the modern game the way it is its required it's one of those how far can you push the boundaries things which can and will go on until officials grow some and stamp it out by dishing out cards etc
I agree, opting out now although I did say that a while ago. Nothing I've seen has changed my opinion on this so I'll just leave it there.
I don't think he decided it he accidently caught him... Your mate Dejan actually pushed DCL as most Liverpool pundits agree..
I think it's difficult for them, tbh. It needs everyone to change the climate of the game, and when luv says his lad was being coached to go down the moment he felt a touch then you know that change is a long way off. I haven't changed my mind about the incident, but it's clear from the ref's point of view that it looks a pen, so I don't blame him. We need honesty from players, managers and coaches to help the officials do their jobs, and I don't see that coming any time soon.
