I am ashamed of the way Puel was treated by the fans and the club. I will applaud the man as he improved several of our players with his coaching. As for the score we need a win if we are to show progression but I fear this will be a draw. The only other question is who will the little rat faced prick cripple this time?
"I like what Puel is doing with the Team. The plan seems to be to outscore the opposition even if we concede a few silly goals." -Leicester forum
Crumbs, that's not how I remember him all. In fact, it was more like the opposite! In all seriousness, that may well be his new plan, but you take out a couple of key ingredients like Blondie & Reg, and things get tough pretty darn quick. Interesting to see him manage that situation, and adapt.
Well we don't have defenders like VVD, Soares and Bertrand (could all easily play for Champions League clubs IMO) and you don't have players like Mahrez, Vardy and Gray. I suppose it's horses for courses.
Yeah, that's true. Shame he didn't spend more time trying to buy a Mahrez when he was here, might panned out a little different. Oh well.....
Good player, needs an arm around him a lot, and you have to put up with a fair amount of tantrums, but very useful when deployed on the left. Not that our gaffers seem to bother about that.
tricky dicky. The pesky foxes are looking sharp at the moment. I have virgin TV and I got the newcastkle - leicester game for free - they sometimes do bonus one offs on virgin I'd rather be a virgin than support pompey though saints will win this.
I'd definitely want Gray at Saints. Don't mind Leicester, they took advantage in the perfect season and had a brilliant run, we also had a great season, finishing 3 points off a Champions League place in 6th.
It's odd that I can watch 3 premiership games for free on a Saturday in Serbia and in the UK you have to subscribe! Granted the commentary is in Serbian but once you've learnt the Serbian for "he'll be sold in January" it's quite nice not to understand the other blab you have to listen to.
Do you know something I don’t? He was here for a season, did poorly in Europe but well in cup and league. Club decided he was not right for us, and we ended his contract (presumably with a big settlement). He discussed a possible position in France before being fired, suggests he was not 100% happy either. How did the club treat him badly?
