I was thinking this morning (yes a strange occurrence) but why don't we have 4 linesmen, then the extras could see what the others don't, especially when it comes to incidents. The cost would be minimal in the grand scheme of things. I also think the linos should be a bit more forthcoming and tell the ref if he has got it wrong or missed something, I thought the lino at the w/e who discussed the offside with the ref was spot on.
I agree about the 25-player limit...it is ridiculous if you get a cluster of injuries close together. Lower league clubs are NOT restricted in this way. Until January, Burnley only have 18/19 players available and 2 are goalkeepers! On Saturday, Heaton, Brady, Marney, Mee, Wells, Lowton and Walters were unavailable because of injury. I know other teams have similar problems.
