Of course it's bent reffing, he never followed the letter of the law and overlooked his supposed impartiality, he readily admits three Spurs players should have been sent off but weren't, bent as **** decisions, as you rightly point out there could have been injuries because of his dishonest handling of the game, if there had of been a serious injury because of one or more of his decisions do you honestly think he'd have owned up to it and in doing so made the same statement?, Of course he wouldn't, he'd have got a life ban.
It's not just bent for that game either, it's also bent for the following fixture where players should be banned. How can the FA enforce player bans when PGMOL openly admit that in games with more attention they are inherently biased against applying the rules. We all knew it, but for them to speak openly about it demands a response to clean up officiating.
This will never happen while fans and pundits alike condone it and call it clever. The fact is that for the younger generations of players and fans it's now seen as a legitimate tactic to try to con the officials. It's only wrong when you get caught. There's no honesty in the game any more. Look at how often players claim a throw when they know full well the ball came off them last.
I encourage this behaviour - win at all costs. I want a team that would two foot their grandmas to get the ball.
imo nothing cl did was unexpected. our analysis could.identify a free kick option for coutinho they are bound to identify this.lad.backing in. there's nothing that can be said to make lovren look anything but a thicko.
I think I mentioned this before but my oldest was told to dive if he felt contact in the box at both Swansea and Cardiff academies.
