So you honestly don't think that someone leaning into you and giving you a gentle shove in the back when you are both feet off the ground in mid run will knock you off balance?
You must be some kind of ninja.

They also think being outplayed for 90 minutes then being gifted a penalty for nothing is "winning a point from a losing position" and better than dominating through skill and organisation but then getting unlucky and "dropping 2 points from a winning position"

This is why they love Mourinho - when he loses he never in the game in the first place and this is somehow a positive

It will never be more of a contact sport until supporters stop calling for yellow and red cards every time their player is tackled :emoticon-0100-smile

No, you're being evasive again - not the result, but the chance: I'd rather my team had a three opportunities like the Mane one than ten hit-and-hopes like Siggy's. At least two of the Mane ones would be passed to a teammate to slot home (three, if it wasn't a dickhead like Mane). Not one of Siggy's is ever going in, even against A Karius or a Joe Hart.

Off target shots deflect in far more often than pearollers beat keepers

That and officials / authorities ****ting themselves that a player could have broke a toe nail.

I believe the rule changes have encouraged cheating, not the other way around. Time for Fifa to grow a backbone but thats about as likely as a Man Utd player being faithful to their wife!

I won't argue the opposite of that, but, remember when Giggs caught the foreign disease of waving imaginary cards at referees trying to get players sent off?, and remember back in the 70's when despite it being a contact sport the crowds used to let the ref know in no uncertain terms they thought it was a corner, foul, throw in, penalty?, you're putting to much criticism on the supporters, it's the players that need to get their house in order and the homer refs.
Look at Clattenberg's admission last week, he's certainly not then only referee to make the rules up for individual games, the game stinks from top to bottom and honesty has been replaced by money end of.

Personally I would give a card to any player that waves an imaginary one.
Of course the supporters used to let the ref know their opinion (at the game), the difference then was after the game they accepted it. Now they have 40 camera angles and super slo mo and still can't accept a decision or agree even with each other.
    VAR will be fun

Part of they problem imo. Yesteryear, decisions wete more accepted because the evidence wasn't there to argue otherwise. Nowadays, a ref makes a genuine call but gets slaughtered because the player was 0.1sec late!

Yeah, but part two of my comment was about refs themselves, I'm not saying any of them are on the take, I'm saying last week's admission by one of our former top referees shows that some of the "iffy" decisions are referees for instance paying back for earlier mistakes in games etc, there is no definitive way of proving 99% of **** that goes on during games despite all the cameras.

If you read it without bias he said he didn't want to be the star of the show so held back on the cards when things got nasty. His opinion was if Spurs wanted to go that way then he wasn't going to be the one to spoil the game by sending 2 or 3 off.
Not good for the safety of other players but honest in his admission that if Spurs wanted to implode it was the managers job to reign them in'
Not condoning it, could have led to a nasty injury but I can understand his feelings at the time, he is human. Not bent reffing, just poor.

Of course it's bent. He entered the game with a premeditated plan to put his own benefit above the rules and his duty of care.
