    Good for fatcats and big business owners but joe public get nothing.....We will still be the poor relations of the country with below average wages....Did nothing for the general public of Hull and will do nothing for the public of Coventry......

    Again you've shown complete ignorance , "Over half of city centre businesses reported a positive impact during linked to increased footfall, sales, diversification of customers and a positive atmosphere in the city. A total of 37 per cent of those businesses reported an increase in turnover and 27 per cent saw an increase in profit on the previous year, with 40 per cent being able to offer staff additional hours. There are signs the year is bringing big benefits to Hull’s economy. Hotel occupancy was up 13.8 per cent in season one, compared to the same period in 2016."

    I suspect there would have been more backing from the Welsh Governement if Cardiff had been taking part.
