Barcelona vs PSG final if they can avoid each other. A repeat of last season ridiculous quarter final and a chance of revenge for the French.

We got a good draw but I fear Lovren will let us down again. If we can't dispose of Everton at home, Porto will present a significant hurdle.

    So next round:

Spurs, City, LFC, Man U, PSG, shakhtar, Barcelona, Bayern. Then the really heavy stuff starts. They are all bone crunchers but the English clubs apart City look more palatable. No reason to fear either the Spurs or the Mancs. BUT let's not get ahead of ourselves. We've Porto to negotiate <ok>

TBH no english clubs seem to do well at porto... ever.. its an interesting record that they have.

They used to travel well, i don't really know at this point. Its a bonus for us to be in here. we got a dolly of a group and did what was needed. getting to last 16 was my target after draw was made. I don't see us favorites for QF now... I think its a tough game but we have a chance.

shaktar v roma is one of those that anything could happen on the night. They are prob cannon fodder for QF draw.
Juve v spurs is an imponderable. Spurs have done well in europe. Juve are a top side. It should be a great tie at the very least.
    city will walk it 100%
Utd IMO will absolutely trounce seville. We really should have after all.
Barca and bayern are prob also favorites yes.

Real v PSG I can't call. real got done for their form in groups but we must remember the winter break is coming and a whole different real could turn up for all we know. Its a deffo tie of round draw

I'm just happy we got here. Our point total and money return will be decent and we can hopefully build on it if we can grab 4th again. hard that but we can try. we have salah after all.

This season, I don’t see any real standout teams. The English teams have improved considerably but all still have weakeness.

The big teams like Barca real and Bayern are not as well rounded as they once were, and PSG are still dodgy at the back. Juventus aren’t as strong either.

Obviously they’re all still very good sides but no team seems to be head and shoulders above the rest.

PSG fault isn't being dodgy at the back, Silva and Marquinhos are two of the best CB's going. I'd say its their lack of depth in the squad, great first team unsure about the quality on the bench.

Juventus, alot of their squad is old and frankly not very fast.

Think if PSG play their first team and don't have any injuries then they can get past Real. As for Juventus and Spurs, its whether they can use their pace and not let Juventus slow the game down in which case Juve would be better adept at controlling the tie.

But you can still get at their defence. Point is, there isn’t a team in Europe that is really well rounded like prior years. Everyone seems to have a glaring weakness at the moment.

That’s why I fancy our underdog chances :)

Well because it's being run by the BBC i'd say it'll probably be Keita or Aboomerang.
