Yes he's definitely the Firmino backup, different role than Sturridge and Origi. Anyone who complains that you should play your best XI every week doesn't also get to complain that there's no plan B when those XI are run into the ground like last season.

She wears a lot of red. Not blue. Never seen her in blue.

Her show is on 4Music. She was engaged to that Packer bloke, who is butt-ugly, so I reckon you're still in with a chance now she's dumped him.

So anyway, here's what I don't get: dinosaur pundits whine every week that it's a contact sport and you just can't tackle anymore, then insist leaning back into a bloke before falling over like an anorexic in a hurricane is deffo a pen. Dubious at best and if it'd been the other way, Allardice would've had kittens.

Most strikers shoot from that spot. Guaranteed if that was Kane he'd be doing it. So does ronaldo. Either way, name me a player whos never missed a clear cut chance or made the wrong decision and i don't think you ever could.

Put it this way, you played well and Everton crap. Even saying that you didn't have what most would call that many clear cut chances so evidently you was missing some creativity. Also this was a B team in the sense you had 3 non starters, 2 of them being key players. It was such a rotational side even @Skylarker was fuming pre game.

At the end of the day, lines were fluffed so people can make there own decisions whether rotating the side worked or not (it didn't :p)

Nothing wrong with Solanke. I think he's going to be step up on Origi, but we won't find that out if he never plays. Origi was coming good too, until that injury 18 months ago. Studge has gone, and I've been his biggest supporter over the years.

Yes, Solanke is the future, but he won't play most games because of who's ahead of him (and Lallana to come back), but he needs to play some games.

I remember Fernando Torres in that exact same situation, in the exact same goal, rolling the ball to William to slot home.

That's tantamount to saying we shouldn't rotate, even over the festive period, in case players really **** up. And Mane could be indulged if we were three up when he did that - to do it at 1-0 was ****ing unprofessional.

I also don't understand replacing Salah, was he injured? Sure he needs rest at some stage but as soon as we got that 2nd goal may be. But once we were 1-1 we were stuffed without him.

On the rotation situation the bit i didn't get was taking Salah off with 25 mins to go when only 1 up.

Edit - great minds think alike <whistle>

He is now close to being the "Suarez" replacement. He is red hot and you expect him to score in every match.

i'm all for rotation, i've been criticising Conte for it on my board.

However you guys were home and dry against spartak (arguably they were that weak that you should have put your B team out for them) at half time and could have taken couts, salah and firmino off for that game. Instead most of them played most of it.

Also you need to consider your opponent, do you rest your players against Everton, who are hitting some form and for this is a big game to put some effort in seeing its the derby or do you do it against WBA the following week. All in all this is bad management in my book

Taking off Salah who's their best player by a street at the minute, with 25 mins left was an act of cockiness from Klopp. The reason he lost it at the end was due to the fact he knew he'd ****ed up with both team selection and that sub and he wanted to deflect from it imo

Disagree......Bobby with fresh legs was just as likely (if not more) to grab a winner.
When our players start getting injuries through being over played Klopp will get stick for that aswell.

proof is in the pudding. We can only speculate what salah could have done. We know for a fact that Firmino did not score or get an assist so whatever happened, salah couldn't have done any worse unless he was scoring oggies

He could have got injured and cost us the 25 goals he'll make in the rest of the season

End of the day our opponents yesterday are a complete irrelevance beyond their geographic privilege
