Apart from Keogh, the team from yesterday could have been put out at Southampton. It's only injuries that forced Grayson to play good players. If he could have signed some of his midfield targets, Clayton might not even be playing.

Aidy White has been excellent at left back in the last two games, just as he was in his sole appearance last season and when he first came into the side, as a 16 year old, under Gary McAllister.

Grayson played Ben Parker and trialists at left back all pre-season, then signed a centre half to play there for the start of the season. It's only the combination of injuries to Bromby and Parker, and O'Brien having a nightmare against Bradford, that left him with no option but to play White.

It's not a question of the glass being half empty or playing the same record, I'm telling it like it is.

Fans have been pretending that White isn't good enough in order to pretend that Grayson is.

    It's ridiculous!

But you're not telling it like it is. What it is like is that we just completely outplayed the league favourites at their ground after thrashing Hull 4-1.

noone has had any delusions about the quality of Aiden White. Many of us have been frustrated that it's taken him this long to get a foot in the door properly, he was showing great talent when we were in League One.

Now he's finally in the team, it's great. Change the ****ing record you clown.

Grayson obviously has, or had, doubts about the quality of White.

    That's my whole point!

He had doubts about his experience. He was young and while he showed promise he also showed he wasn't quite ready. He admitted himself he was cramping up after 70 minutes playing with Leeds, because keeping up with the pace was hard work when he was thrown in the deep end. Grayson has actually played it perfectly and now White is showing himself to be a potential star player for us.

Quality should come before experience every time. And you can only get experience from playing games.

Are you saying Grayson suddenly got over those doubts after three games of this season?

White had a serious cramp problem caused by his nerves which even extended into his loan stay at Oldham last year. He wasn't in a physically fit state to be playing for United. No manager in their right mind would have played him; in fact it's arguable that he should have been farmed out sooner.

No, I'm saying White now has experience because of the loan spells he went on.

Lack of experience loses games, a player has to be absolutely spectacular to get a regular spot in the first team at that age, a Rooney or a Milner. As good as White is, his lack of experience showed when he first played with us back in the League One days.

Sending him out on loan allowed him to get experience in an environment where he wouldn't get stung so hard for his mistakes, and as such wouldn't be so much of a liability as a young player. And yes, young players are liabilities - it's part of the risk of playing them in the first team, because of the lack of experience.

He gained enough out on loan to allow us to play him comfortably and his ability is now shining through.

This is why young players get sent out on loan, you're just too ****ing thick to really understand anything.

Clown is a regular derogetory term for me. I call people clowns all the time, but I can't remember if I said it and it caught on, or if I saw it and pissed myself laughing.
