Anyone ever grown their own stuff?

Reckon hiag grows pansies in the summer.

But what would you lot of ****ing weirdos grow?

Spurslock and 83 can share a thermal shed, cultivating new weeds.

I've got an allotment. I pay £20 a year for it. Nobody knows I have it, and I don't grow anything there.

I do have every intention of using it for it's intended purposes, in a couple of years. My mate has said he'll give me a few hens to get started so I can get my eggs. I'll grow fruit through the summer, and vegetables during the winter.

Over here, I’ve got oranges, pink grapefruit, apricots, and pomegranate trees. Also grow chilies- had the same plant for years. Feed and water it regularly and it produces more chilies than we can use.

Apart from that, just herbs. Veg is so cheap here that unless you’re a dedicated gardener it’s easier to just buy it in the market.

I've got some raised beds, a greenhouse and a large fruit cage.

We grow veg, chillis, toms etc, flowering plants from seed and we have more strawberries, raspberries and apples every year than we know what to do with. Love my gardening

I wish I could grow some house plants but I just kill every plant other than cactus (one or two of those also died though).

Keeping house plants isn't complicated mate. Firstly, you ensure that you put the plant in a place where it's best suited - read the ****ing tag lol. Then water as per the instructions and feed periodically with baby bio or similar. If the thing grows significantly it'll need to go into a bigger pot, that's about as complicated as it gets.

I have a pear tree in the garden and in about 2 years (god willing) the trampoline can be taken to the dump and I'll be raising the land and starting a small allotment.

I used to take a group of recovering addicts and lifers to an allotment every Friday from a Cat D prison and work with them on it, good times actually - funny as ****.

I didn't know you followed religion fella.

With the way our food supply is going now, everything sprayed with ****ing chemicals. I think everybody growing as much of their own grub as possible, is the way forward.

I'm not religious mate. I'm just hoping the trampoline doesn't get taken down earlier than intended. Unless you know what's happening with me at the moment then you won't get that comment (you do btw <ok> )

Yeah mate, I've wanted to ask you how it's going but I never know what to say. I can't imagine something like that, it's just the worst.

Still here if you need a chat x

Got raised beds. I grow Spuds (easy just stick them in the ground) Courgettes, Tomatoes, Runner beans and Peppers. I don't use chemicals so I lose a lot of it to Slugs and Birds, but it's just a hobby to supplement what I buy from my friends who grow veg commercially. It also gets my little un' out into the garden and digging in the earth and understanding where her food comes from.

I don't do it on purpose so I have no idea, I suspect foul play.

Seems we do actually have a few gardening types.I fully expected this one to be torn to pieces (a bit like luvs houseplants)

Piskie grows Spuds, quite ironic really

Dunno what you're talking about, mate. It's not like there's been a few strains bred to survive outdoor in our climate :emoticon-0143-smirk
