Match Day Thread Tis The Season Boro v Chairboys 9th Dec 17

The Chairboys return to league action with the short trip to Hertfordshire to take on the Boro at Broardhall Way looking for a much better performance than our last visit 10 months ago, a game in which the 3-0 scoreline flattered us, as it could have been 6-0 and as we have lost our last 3 away league games we need to be at our best for this one.
Gaz has been boosted by the return to training of Kashket and Tyson but this game is likely to have come to soon for them but after having a weekend off Eze will start as the only likely change from last weekends cup game.
I have gone to our last 3 trips to Broadhall Way but with Christmas looming and some big games coming up I will be sitting this one out, but I expect the lads to get back to winning ways on the road

 

Need at least a draw to keep in the mix, with Kashket & Tyson back for the Christmas fixtures might be able to give the Beast & Mackail-Smith a rest for a game even though watching them against Crawley & last Sunday they look full of energy

 

Eze and Freeman come in for Saunders and Southwell who both drop to the bench

 

Tyson also makes the bench

 

Blooms instead of Saunders? With Kashket on the way back and Freeman and Paris fit where does Southwell fit in the team? On loan somewhere in January i'd imagine unless we have injuries.

A good point keeps us in the mix & they did five past Swindon last week, going to be a battle at the bottom with four clubs on 20pts

 

My grandson's team drew 0-0 and they had over 20 shots off target in the last 15 mins (most of them barely 6" off target )

 

I have just heard from my son that Scott Brown almost scored it was over the line but referee did'nt agree any more information

 

I was quiet on here yesterday as my daughter went into hospital to have to her first baby and in the early hours of this morning she gave birth to a my grandson making me a real grand parent I have two wonderful step grand children but there is a special feeling when your daughter gives birth but I will be sticking with the name Grumpy

I am but have no children/grandchildren maybe that's what keeps me going at the age of 57 Me and the missus are well past our fertile years as we're both piling on the pounds and sex between us wouldn't be pretty
