Wrong game for Klopp to tinker around with, Everton were there for a mauling today; absolutely awful display from them. Problem is our team selection meant we offered very little quality either. Salah had another moment of magic, but otherwise Mane blew our best chance. Whilst Lovren will undoubtedly get all the criticism, Mane's poor decision not to pass was just as bad as that was a nailed on goal, would put us 2-0 up and give a strong mental mindset for the remainder of the game. Then we come to Henderson. I mentioned in the first half, but lets continue with it! Dire from our captain again. Negative, pondering on the ball and slow without, poor decisions when it comes to passing again and as for that shot in the dying minutes Just shows how clueless he is. If your captain can't stay calm and composed, what hope do we have?

What was Lovren doing? As soft a pen as you could see but why put your hands on his shoulders? There is no way a panel could give this as a cheat. There was forward movement of his hands and the player fell after that. This was a typical big Sam match, exactly as I predicted. Even when he conceded he kept the same shape and Lovren was always a mistake waiting to happen. Klopp must take the blame for taking this match for granted. Why rest Coutinho and Firmino and bring them on when we were in trouble. 2 points dropped and we've got ourselves to blame. We got Big Sammed and it is not the first time
I'm always the first to admit when we give away a penalty, etc... ... That was no penalty. That was the most minimal of contact though. 19 times of a score refs would not give a penalty for that. Very soft penalty.
You only have to look at the last 10 odd games when Can started as 6 instead of hendo to see the difference. We can keep criticising Henderson but at the end of the day, he’s not good enough to play at the level. That’s not his fault, that’s who is he. In the same way that Benteke isn’t suited to a fluid passing and moving style of football.
