Self entitled, that would be Utd followed closely by Liverpool, who still talk about "History". Trouble is, since Iv'e been following Chelsea, their "History" has gone from Modern to Ancient.

You may of noticed that I haven't slagged off the manager or players and some of us Chelsea fans are not like a spoilt brat with his lolly taken away. <ok>

I think slagging off a lack of effort is reasonable, no matter how good or bad a team is. We've never been a particularly bad team since I've been following us, granted we are a level up from the 90's but still weren't a bad side. Lack of effort in any sense is frustrating though and that's what it was yesterday.

You've certainly come along way since you were bought for £1, Bates did a good job, then you got the same as Blackburn, a rich fan pumping money in that took you up a bit (I remember my Chelsea mate being almost in tears when he heard Harding had died), then you got the same as Man U, foreign billionaire money. Can't really knock you for that, we had the biscuit barons with their photocopied billions that sent the world into economic melt-down.

That’s a good video. With Manchester City having one hand on the Premiership trophy - and we haven’t even reached Christmas - it may, hopefully, be that the club is concentrating on winning the Cups. Let’s not get too downbeat because West Ham almost got a result against Manchester City last week.

I think you're right, West Ham were always up for this yet we should have won this, we weren't outplayed . We are close to playing well but Conte is not getting any balance in the team. The back 3 need at least 1 player who will play the ball out occasionally. That allows our midfield to open up the width and drag the opposition midfield out of position. The midfield need a player to run directly at the defenders . Kante does this with skill, but not enough power, and he then has to run miles back to defend as no one else in midfield is helping him, and the back 3 are hovering round the half way line. By the time our attack then gets close to the goals we should have more people in place to get off a shot.
Time to look at the players who sit on the bench and never get a run on. The subs we are using ,like for like, don't work, apart from against Liverpool was it? Balance, please Conte, more balance.

I’ve got faith in Conte sorting the balance. I bet Conte and every other Premiership manager wouldn’t like to be Jose Mourinho right now. Jose Mourinho has spent a fortune on players and his side has now handed their greatest rivals - Manchester City - the top flight record for consecutive wins in a season. It’s all about the race for second spot and that’s realistic and achievable for us. COYB.

I agree, 2nd is the best aim for us, City are out of sight. Against Utd we did look a good team, Conte must see what we can see and I expect some fine tuning, especially with a run of modest opposition and no CL for a while. January will be interesting though. If we don't get in a player or two that Conte wants, will we see a massive dummy spit like early season? Hope not.
