Problem with your arguments is that they are not backed up historically or factually here. If you look at the paperwork, before ww2, likes if king Faisal and Chaim had sat down and drawn out agreements to Jerusalem that allowed freedom for all. Its only after ww2 and support from USA that Israel started acting the **** that it became an issue Hamas may be ****s but they grew out of Israel being ****s and are in fact democratically elected. For a muslim to destroy Jerusalem is akin to blowing up mecca, no way no how dies any Palestinian organization even dream of doing that.
Jerusalem has been a multi faith city for a millennium A peaceful negotiated solution to the Israeli land grabs in that region is the only way there'll be peace there, and in the wider region. The Arab states - rightly - think that Israel needs bringing back into line

The one thing I've never understood is why Jerusalem has never been proposed as a city state, a capital for all 3 major religions like the Vatican. I know that sounds an incredibly naive suggestion and outside the box but the city already circulates the mayordom and other functional responsibilities, wouldn't a city state just be the next step? Jewish heritage is an issue gets thrown up and never debated. Coz it usually boils down to nonsense. Generally Jewish and christian and Islamic heritage is so close neither would be looking to destroy the other I have no time for hamas , don't even class them as Muslim tbh, but they are there because of the Israelis doing what they do. And they were democratically elected but democracy only prevails when it suits. I have family and friends in Palestine too so yeah I don't just get it off the papers either. I also know many a Jew who are from Israel who hate what Israel does to the Palestinians

Erm no. My broader point was that religion has got its head so far up its own arse, that it produces people who will murder others if anybody dare criticise it. On the point of jersusalem, nobody is saying it should be handed over to Palestine. The issue at hand is how both Judaism and Islam can both share the place that they both consider to be a Holy site. Unfortunately the issue has become politicised and militarised and that is down to Israel and the west carving up Palestine.
You're talking plums, if a woman hits you around the bonce with a frying pan 5 times and then you give her one back, it's called self defence. You're assuming that in the eyes of the law there's a massive issue with gender inequality when it comes to DV. There isn't, the main issue with DV perpetrated by a woman is that men don't report it. None of which alters the fact that women are being killed by their spouses / partners / ex's every week in this country. Your angle on this issue is plain wrong
This The religions are so entwined that they basically all share the same theological roots broadly speaking. Hence the issue of Jersusalem being the centre of the Holy land. Personally I think Islam, Judaism and Christianity need to go through another reformation and modernise in order to be fit for a 21st century world.
OK mate. Have a read of reports by Parity or mankind initiative. An american study in 2006 looked at around 500 cases of DV and found the man instigated around 20% of the time and women around 35%. Women are ahead in causing more damage in this study too. The other stick out thing was that men's was more verbal but women's was always more physical, in terms of starting **** A Harvard study in 2013 said 70% of DV is started by women, they were made to remove it off their website
I'm not sure if this is going to advance the debate very far, but I will throw it into the pot. If women weren't so very ****able, I'm not sure we'd put up with their ****. There it is. Any studies on that, at all?
