Ha no went to Logan’s Roadhouse on the 192, $3.50 for litres of Miller’s, it tastes weak as ****, but it’s not, on the cans now back in the villa, it’s a bit chilly today had to put a jumper on
Are you staying in Kissimmee or somewhere near? We have just booked a villa for January 2019 on highland reserve. Been to that one before and quite a nice one. Like to have something to look forward to.
Yes we’ve been here loads of times Highland reserve is on the US 27, I’ve been on there, we are on Bella Vida resort which is nearer to downtown Kissimmee at mile marker 15 on the 192, the locals are dressed up like they will be in Hull, I had shorts and a City shirt on til it got dark then put my jumper on
I've spent the last hour trying to find the motel I stayed in on Irlo Bronson Hwy back in 2004. I've come to the conclusion that it's been knocked down. Had the biggest US culture shock in a Logan's in Nashville. The southern drawl was like listening to another language. Took a day or so to get used to it.
Well my wish came true, I said before hand I hope Toral gets a chance, and he appears to have been the game changer. He is tailor made for that Number 10 roll, hopefully he will get a run in the side now under Nigel. Great win for the boys, and 3 really good goals, plus they conceded late on again, but this time saw it out for the win. Clearly Kamil had issues with Leo, and Mazuch should have been in the team long ago, as when he has played he is a far better defender than Hector is. Dawson also looks more comfortable with him along side him. Obviously Leo seems to have felt a moral obligation to play the Chelsea boys which probably has helped towards his demise.
I think that makes a lot of difference, can you imagine Leo with 10 minutes injury time pacing up and down looking as if he is going to "vomit a basketball" This phrase borrowed from Les at Amber nectar. This must have made the players feel even more nervous than they already were.
At £3 a litre I had a few, mind it’s 4.2%.but tastes as weak as piss, bought a 1.75l bottle of Gordon’s for $18 so I’m on that now
I had forgotten that good spot, looks a good keeper. On another point Clucas at Swansea seems to be struggling, unused sub again.
Last I heard Moses might be in a position to be around the first team in April. I think the best we can hope for is one or two cameo appearances towards the end of the season, and then him being back for next. That is assuming he has no reaction to his injury and signs a new contract.
The first time we went, we stayed at the Rodeway Inn opposite Wet and Wild (now called Floridian Express), wife had some stuff nicked from the hotel room, which we think will have been by the cleaner. The view from the balcony was quite good..... if you like rear walls of the Western Steer steakhouse... Obviously we didn’t have a lot of money to spend on accommodation then.
I thought mine was attached to a red lobster, but now I'm thinking it is the black angus steakhouse (the attached Econo lodge burned down apparently!) $10pn.
It’s changed massively round there now, Wet and Wilds been demolished for soon to be built Universal hotels
I saw it had closed down but didn’t know what was going there. I think the next time we went we stayed on Disney at the Dixie landings, but each time since has been in villas. The first one was at the far right end of the 192 behind Walmart. Every other time has been on the 27 or once in Tuscany Villas which was crap, as it was company owned, the rest have all been privately owned and have been brilliant.
The first time we went to Kissimmee we ended up changing two hotels as the first 2 were filthy and vermin in the room, one was a Days Inn the other one a Howard Johnson. Can't remember which hotel we finished up in, but it was certainly better than the first 2.
