Just heard that a Birmingham fan has died after falling over on the coach... Not sure whether it was on the way or coming from the match.. Shocking thing to happen..
As has always been said, nobody should ever go to a football match and not return home. RIP fellow football fan.
Sad news when someone leaves the house for entertainment and doesnt return. That said how many other people died today through horrible circumstances? Lifes not a rehearsel. Live every day asif its your last cause when our times up theres no going back.
Loads of comments about it on the Championship banter page on facebook.. Some of the comments are from people who wedre on the coach..
One of the comments copied and pasted Sad to say my/our good friend Mark "Squid" Carter ...a Birmingham City fan through and through and also an old skool Zulu from the 80's died today while following his passion.. Birmingham City. We all take the piss and wind each other up ..but on a serious note hope all of you from all our respective clubs can wish him RIP. "
That's tragic. There's never a good time to die, but it's two weeks before Christmas and his family would have been expecting him home.
Horrible news, shows how most of take a simple thing like going to the footy for granted. Thoughts with the lads friends and family.
Reading some of the later comments and this could be wrong.. Some comments now saying he is critical but still alive... The wonders of false news on social media eh... I should have known better than to take comments as fact..
Still, I wish him a speed recovery. I don't think much of his mates though, writing him off like that!
