A bit hard to say we were crap, away against the top of the league team, down to 10 for the last half hour and still came away with a point mate.
Yeah, pop over to the warm glow thread. Their match day thread from page 6 makes for fantastic reading too
I think this is the way it has to be, I just hope our fans can stand by the team because a lot of them kick off when we don't win every game.
Tell ya what, any other manager in the league with a record like that would be out the door, i still struggle to see why most of our fans still think the sun shines out rafas arse. So negative , no desire to go out and get at teams, theyll be derbys again next season if the mackems can stay up, absolutely pathetic.
Interesting to see Gooch rated well, I've been wanting to see him given a shot and I know I'm not the only one. Him and Honeyman give us good energy and are both team players, and building a team that will fight for each other is our best chance of survival.
As you've probably gathered I don't rate the guy either and it's not because he manages Newcastle, I've thought it for a long time. He's supposed to be a tactical genius but all I'm seeing from Newcastle is some spirit but **** all else.
I lifted that comment from a Newcastle supporter. He's failing them, he spent 5 million on a full back that couldn't get a game for our shower of ****e. He's brought in Lejeune for about 8 million and he's awful, John O'Shea turns twice as quick as him. He spent about 11 million on Jacob Murphy and he doesn't look like he can step up to premier league standard. Joselu is a donkey and Atsu is very hit and miss. The only good signing he's made is Merino and I think that is a loan deal. He's spent about 35 million, last summer. Not a great deal, but he was giving some sort of budget.
I'm not particularly bothered what happens with them but I like to see them lose. You're the same with Boro aren't you?
Yes and i speak about my hatred when it has something to do with us not on our matchday thread whem were not even in the same league?
I do. I live amongst them, they're my main rivals and it's venomous up here. I want to see them suffer and I enjoy seeing their misery. We might just see things differently, but that's cool.
Oh yeah that's quite obvious now I've read it again, I thought it was one of us because I know a few on here rate him. He's one of those managers that can inherit a great side with a big transfer budget and do passably well for a short time until the slightest bit of difficulty arises at which point he bails or more likely gets sacked. I think he deserves some credit for the promotion but really, in this league if you spend any kind of money you shoot up the table.
I live amongst boro and all my mates are fans hence my hatred towards them. Our clubs that fecked up now all i can do is agree with them which pains me. Things are bad but im not gona go into slagging newcastle off mode. Their in the Prem and were struggling to stay in the Championship.
I was actually going to mention the Boro connection with you. I don't even see Boro as rivals, when we play them it might as well be Norwich for me. There's nothing there, no hatred or dislike. I actually wanted Boro to win the European cup when they were in just because they were an English team. Hell would freeze over before I would even want Newcastle to score a goal, in any game, at any time. I'm not going to pick and choose when I slag Newcastle off mate, if they get beat I'm giving them stick. That's what the rivalry is there for, surely.
