I know what you mean mate, and you can be exposed to it completely but it doesn't mean you're 'half Jewish'. Them's the rules.

Yeah but they made that up

Patrineal lineage is in the Hebrew Bible and the early temple laws.

The changes occurred much much later in the 2nd century

Original Jewish law said that to be a Jew your dad and mum had to be Jewish and legally married. Legally as in Jewish law

Same with me Fan, my father couldn’t understand my rational in deciding my own beliefs but one has to find their own way using their own feelings of belief.

I actually took the time to explain that I was dropping kids off and picking up from work and that quick google would be neo Nazi sites etc

But again citing the first Israeli pm in 1936 is a direct quote despite the site, no?

Good thing they changed it then given the pool size. The 'ultra orthodox' community here (Manchester) are limited to the extent where their community require them to have eligibility medical examinations before they enter into a relationship.

There’s no doubt there’s a Zionist conspiracy regarding the actual death toll and people have wrongly said wtf whether it’s 4 or 6 + or - but they were all someone’s babies. What I really want to understand is why have the newspapers have continually conspired to to fabricate the numbers.

Tbh I find this stuff fascinating and look into it, not through hatred but for myself. Not just Jews either, as I mentioned before. I actually got threatened with violence for my views on king Faisal and Jinnah etc

When I read stuff from the Holocaust memorial museum etc as a response to questions it doesn't answer them, rather creates more. Done of what they write would be laughed out of court but its anti semetic so you have to accept it. Funny thing they don't accept it themselves if you listen to their ceos etc

There was a report done in Australia in 2014 by the Jewish community. In one section one of their explanation for Jewish hatred was their refusal to kill their sick children and taking the Sabbath day off. Wut?

Try and look into why Jews were persecuted in every country and at every stage in their history is a no no. But if you did you would see england killed them for being German. Yep German

In later years they were afforded great privilidge and then persecuted for being "disloyal" with their wealth

I find the whole 'off limits' thing a bit of an insult to my intelligence to be honest. My personal opinion, and this applies to all religions, is that they should be openly questioned and revisited if they want to hold any weight in a modern society. The idea that you simply shut down debate to protect some sacrosanct notion of truth or tradition actually flies in the face of my own belief system, which is to question everything and challenge old notions of accepted absolutes.

I agree and have to say that in my limited research and knowledge of religion, certainly the abrahamic ones, to question is encouraged.

Its the so called purveyors of religions, imams, rabbis, priests, who discourage it as they haven't a clue. They feel they have to answer everything and an inability to do so or actually follow their respective religions advice and say the best answer "I don't know".

Its a real beef of mine tbh, I think these purveyors of religion are responsible for its destruction.

My stance is that you don't need religion to have a decent moral compass or access to spirituality. I have no problem with faith, as I have a faith too, but it has nothing to do with the monotheistic religions. You're right though to point out that the people who are appointed to administer religion are often the cause of the problems within religions. The basic spiritual principles of all religions are broadly similar, it the politic of is dissemination and who controls its doctrines that cause the problems. You don't need a church or Mosque to access the Godhead and you don't need a Priest, Rabbi or Imam to tell you how to interpret your spirituality.

Does it matter if it's 100% instigated by the woman? That didn't come across well to me there.

How can it be proven that men are bigger victims of domestic violence, than women? I don't believe that for a second. I'll be honest, there's an underlying sympathy in your tone that shouldn't be there.

I also question the mainstream thinking that says it was implicitly okay for Charlie Hebdo to satirise Islam, whilst any notion of criticism of Judaism is labelled as being anti-semitic. Definitely a case of double standards and pretty ****ing obvious too.

Again, my personal stance is that no belief system should be so insecure as so resort to murder if somebody sends it up. But the hypocrisy is too obvious.

    .

I don't think you should tie in the 'belief system' of Islam with murderers who represent ISIS, for starters, but also you must be walking around with your head in your arse if you think anti-semitism is punished accordingly.

All the accused has to do is throw up the 'Zionist' curtain and they can freely attack the Jews without reprimand behind as it's disguised.

With regards to Jerusalem for example, everybody is butthurt about Israel announcing it as their capital, turn the tables for one second, do you think if this land was handed over to Palestinians, that Hamas and the Palestinians would openly allow the Jews to pray at The Kotel or Christians to come and pray at The Holy Sephulcer or, do you think they'd smash them to pieces the minute they got the keys and stop allowing Jews into the sites?

It's a city where multiple faiths are being allowed to go and pray freely, yet all the media fire out is how corrupt and uncompromising these Israeli Jews are.

That isn't what I'm discussing mate. It's a holy city for many faiths, should they just hand it back to the Palestinians for Hamas to destroy or should they govern it and allow all faiths to pray there?

It's religion governing politics and if you can't understand that then maybe you need to visit that part of the world.

Why would Hamas destroy it? the Palestinians didn't destroy it before the rogue nation that is Israel illegally invaded that territory

Is it bollocks religion governing politics, it's a rogue nation being given a free hand due to the power that they hold in Washington. 45 UN resolutions outstanding against them. Disgusting
