First penalty of the season? Now got three away games out of 4 fixtures for the rest of December. Hope this lasts but still feeling uneasy about this team as the vultures will circle in January and we are short of dosh again.
3 goals & 3 points we need this to continue long may it continue. Think players like Pritchard & a fully fit Oliveria have been sorely missed, just need Tettey back now
I don't care if it's cold outside - I'm off to my 'corner shop' (aka Aldi) to get some beers and don't care if I have a hangover in the morning!!!
I know I'm hundreds of miles away so have to rely on others' reports but I've seen several tweets raving about what a terrific last few performances by Vranic, but all I see on here is how crap he is and shouldn't be starting, so who's telling porkies?
I haven't been to ALL the home games, but I haven't seen much from him in the games I've been to see. Edit - WHAT a surprise!!!! I'll be back!!!
My stream failed just going in to HT. So I didn't watch the turn around (typical, I sat through 45 minutes of sh*te) He looked as awful as always first half. Didn't see 1 positive thing he did. But he made about 2 or 3 mistakes.
Thank you both for your reply, as I say, I haven't seen him but have seen several tweets bigging him up, very strange!
Bit late on here because of other commitments. Had problems with my stream in the first half, but found a very good one for the second half (LiveStream). Vrancic's strength (7.5 on WhoScored) is his ability to make long through passes which he did well in the second half. He does also have weaknesses though in losing the ball too much and unconvincing defending, though he was better second half. Credit DF with the tactical changes in the second half which transformed us from a struggling side to convincing winners. Maddison was deservedly MotM but Pritchard was also sharp and his shot created the chance for the equaliser. Klose was also excellent and scored the winning goal as well. Still not convinced about Oliveira, but perhaps the penalty will boost his confidence. Time to celebrate now!
My beer is in the freezer!! Enjoy one and all (that includes YOU KIO!!!) - http://www.skysports.com/football/norwich-vs-sheff-wed/374865 GRRRR8 penalty from Basil. Edit - 16 shots on goal and 6 on target!!!
From what I saw (and limited clips earlier in the season) Vrancic, Josh and Stiepermann were very poor today. We so do need Tettey or an equivalent back asap. Would personally rather have seen Wildschut than Watkins for genuine width and pace. But the telepathy and movement off the ball between Pricthers and Madders was a total delight
A real pig that we're nearly half way through the season and today was the first time proper those two have been able to be deployed together. Different animal with them both fit and firing
Gunn, Pinto, Klose, Maddison, Pritchard, Josh, Olivera. That's exciting. Josh didn't seem to play well from what I saw, but he will develop and improve. He has had a few good games this season. Nelson missed a lot of easy chances, but I'm not even sure if he is 100% fit yet!
Really good second half, fully deserved the win. Definitely ordering that new boiler on the back of this.
