Good win in the end, my forecast was by 2. Hopefully this is the start of a good run thro' to new year. That's all I want from Santa.
Think milkyboy, think, why was the QPR player who lobbed the ball left all alone in midfield with enough space to build another London Bridge?
He looked feckin gutted didn't he? Funny enough, high balls had been bouncing over people's heads in the centre of the park all day, where it didn't matter a lot - at least he got away without it meaning too much and made amends immediately after. Great to see Roofe coming good at last, and why we haven't used Cibicki before today amazes me. Another foreign "pound shop squad player" who might turn out to be a cracker.
I don’t do thinking LL, i’m Witless remember. I leave the thinking of how to blame Philips for everything to you. He was rubbish today to be fair, and i’m not his greatest fan.
Don’t think he knew much about that save, but at least he got off his line to get the block in. Wonder what roofe’s goalscoring record is starting as a striker for us.
Thankyou for the agreement milkyboy, very brave and noble of you. I wrote after Weidwald let it in it was another Weidwald howler, but the scorer was left with lots of space to lob it...
Been waiting to see Seabiscuit for a while - guessed initially he was being introduced slowly as he'd played a full season in Sweden since March and then was beginning to get worried he just must be crap in training but nice to seem him take his chance to shine well when he got on today.
As you said above Milky, he was bought as a goalscoring striker and then played on the wing, where he's less comfortable and effective. I reckon you'd find his goals to game ratio starting at CF is pretty good, especially after today.
