Just seen a replay, it was a red, boarderline - but if a Burnley player had done that you'd say it was a red. He shouldn't have lunged in. End of.
Looking at the replay, I still don't understand why Richarlison wasn't given a penalty for the blatant push in the back...
Reputation? Interesting from the BBC: Saying Zaha dived for a penalty (mind you hard to feel sorry for Bournemouth) and reckon he ought to be banned.
Having a little giggle at John Hartson nominating his 'ultimate players' during the break. When he said Neville Southall, my mind went straight back to our first top flight match when he caught Pat Rice's cross and stepped back over the line...
"He didn't touch it, wasn't interfering with anything" - in reference to their offside. Surely a pundit/commentator should know the rules better than that?
If someone is standing in front of the goalie in an offside position how can he not be interfering with play?
I am not a lover of offside, teams should learn to defend. However I do subscribe the view of the great Brian Clought "if he is on the pitch, he is interfering with play"
