I have Googled Danny Hylton, he is just the type of striker we are crying out for but very hard to see the Belgians signing him. Top scorer in League 2 and looks an upgrade on Josh.
The pro-Roland posture of ITTV is a bit like saying that if a man stops battering his wife and buys her a meal she should be full of gratitude.
Precisely - They don't do joined up thinking on there. "The new owner's might be bad for Charlton, so let's be grateful we have Roland"
Senile Jeddez has got a new, ultra- Apologist line over on ITTV. According to him, you can ONLY criticise RD if you have the money to buy Charlton yourself.
Another slice of wisdom from ITTV - "If this Australian consortium take over you can forget Championship football for a very long time. As for the Premiership?? ...Not in my lifetime and probably not yours either." It didn't take failure Roland Duchatelet that long to make us forget about Championship football, and he hardly went flat out for the Premiership.
When the Belgians go you can bet your life ITTApologist will be thanking them for all they have done.
Old Reamsy is lining up his loyal sheep, I mean posters, against the new owners in advance. They will fall in line, and Nigel will be back soon to join in his imaginary war on CL.
He thinks he's so sensible, but comments like that show him up to be as thick and spineless as any other apologist. Duchatelet can only be criticized by other multi-millionaires? Get your tongue out of his arse mate, you're embarrassing yourself. Just because RD is better off than most Charlton supporters, that does not make him better than us. Stop worshipping the miserable old scrote and have some self-respect. Still, at least we won't hear Jeddez moaning about the new owners then, unless he wins the Euro Millions lottery.
It is obvious why Reams got an invite to the Director's box for todays game.... it has absolutely nothing to do with Reams himself but out of respect to the work his father did with Lenny while we were at Selhurst. As much as I hate the present Regime... Eddie May was a good man and I can't see a problem with the Club showing respect to his son today.
That is an angle I suppose, although does not change the comments he has made in the past about the board etc.
Reams once posted on ITTV that Katrien Meire should fear for her personal safety. Yes, he later apologised to her in person for remarks like that, but that should be the absolute minimum necessary for him to avoid the deserved consequences. It hardly seems appropriate that he is now invited to sit in the directors enclosure during such a symbolic game. But it's the Club's choice. Thousands of Charlton fans who have never threatened our CEO and would be disgusted by the very notion have been frozen out of any relationship with the Regime. Would that they receive a fraction of the respect shown to the moderator of ITTV today.
I think Reams is pulling Ben Hayes’ chain - in which case I am in favour. As I have always said, half a dozen of Murray’s cheerleaders are every bit as big a problem at Charlton as RD and Meire. #AnimalFarm
Just missed a train from London Bridge and seen a lubricated Paul May on the train I missed in a shirt and trousers - can of Stella in hand
