Saw him play a couple of times. He was amazing. Naturally two footed, incredible close control, phenomenal balance - he could send a defender sprawling with just a body swerve.

And all that in the days when most pitches were little more than ploughed fields and the likes of Harris, Hunter, Smith, etc were all trying to cripple him any chance they got.
