In my experience, once people start to do 'systems', they've gone too far and deep into the sport. Like every other sport, they'll always be surprises and some horses just wont feel 100%, that's life. You can't calculate that, or predict which owners are just sending the horse out for a 'run'. Good luck with it, though.

Depends what way you're playing the game Safc i guess, As i said originally though it's purely a bit of fun and it showed a good profit last year so it's just something to trial and see how it goes, level stakes i have set are not massive and we've been going over a month and we're at a £4.50 loss! And considering in Dec 2016 last year it was at about a -90 loss before it really started to pick up in about Jan/Feb i'm pretty happy!

I’m in no way being facetious but does anyone ever try to win a ‘Pertemps Qualifier’?!? Surely the aim is to finish 6th, qualify for or the Final, and get a ratings reduction in the process. Fascinating that Mr Henderson runs Beat That in the race. I’ve no idea though whatsoever if he will be 100% or simply running to qualify for the Final – not that hard given there are only 8 runners!
