Morning all, very misty and damp, but a bit warmer here. When I fetched the bread this morning there were two teams of council workmen in town erecting the Christmas lights. They will be switched on in about a week and continue through into January. They certainly bring a cheerfulness to the darkest days of the year.
Took a trip to Limoges this afternoon to get a few things we needed. Lovely sunshine as we left here, but en-route you climb up to a much higher level. The temperature dropped from 10°C to 4°C at the highest point, and in areas where there are lots of trees, the snow was still very visible. The views are extensive, but you would need to be a bit hardy to live up in those hills.
Good morning all from a cold and dry Weston-super-Mare! The promised rain has not arrived yet but I'm sure it will! Have agood day!
Morning all, a cold night but no frost. Spent ages yesterday trying to organize a few presents for the family in England. Every way I turned I was met by websites that had a glitch or two. Something is available so you try to order it, and then having opened an account you get a message to order something else. Get onto the phone and you find that of course they have want you want in stock, and the website is the problem. The largest companies have the staff to get these things right, but smaller companies seen to struggle sometimes.
Good morning all from a cold and dry Weston-super-Mare. Possible snow forecast for today! Have a good day!
Morning all, bright and not so cold this morning. Internet went down this morning for a time. I guess it is overloading the server as people try to order goods for Christmas. I ordered two identical items from the same company at the same time for delivery to the same address. One parcel is for delivery today, and the other one is still in transit. Better organization could could have saved some money there.
Bloody hell you get up early!! It's not even bed time here considering it's Friday and all...or is that Saturday now!!!
