Nah, Wenger will be the last of the long term managers and he has pushed it too far and gone stale.
The new breed only seem to be able to cope for 3-5 years then can't re-build or "need a rest" when another team surpasses them.

Gotta agree with you there Diego, but for example from a man u point of view, the Neville's, Giggs, Scholes etc would relish the chance to manage Utd at all levels and guarantee they want to stay there until retirement, but the big problem isn't commitment it's the guarantee of success and or at least a CL spot every season.
Same with former local players from most clubs, their hearts are in the right place but their skills at management aren't.

Poch is looking good right now but has no reason to leave Spurs (at least until he has had a chance in the new stadium)
Before Jose it would have been Ancelotti or Klopp, my opinion of Klopp has changed since then though, very one dimensional and no tactics at all if the game goes wrong.
Not really thought about a Jose replacement yet.

Fair enough, Ancelloti probably the best out there at the moment and it's hard to tell how/where Poch will go. On paper though he suits you lot down to the ground with exciting football and bringing through youth.

I'd still like to see Simeone come to the PL relatively soon.

Didn't Robbie Fowler get fined for wearing a T-shirt supporting the Liverpool dockers as it was deemed a political statement?

    Yes he did.

Imo Mourinho is probably right here as I recall only last year Ireland and Wales got done for something as international sides. I can't recall whst exactly but it does seem to me that pep has got away with one here

    Ahhhhh got it.

Sll the home nations were fined for putting the poppy on shirts and ireland were done for 1916 date on shirt.

So clearly Mourinho is right. Pep has got away with it.

Claudio Sulser, chairman of the FIFA disciplinary committee, said: "With these decisions, it is not our intention to judge or question specific commemorations as we fully respect the significance of such moments in the respective countries, each one of them with its own history and background.

"However, keeping in mind that the rules need to be applied in a neutral and fair manner across FIFA's 211 member associations, the display, among others, of any political or religious symbol is strictly prohibited. In the stadium and on the pitch, there is only room for sport, nothing else."
