Well maybe you didn't but that means there must be another user with the same name.

For reference, Schofield, the quote posted above comes from post #206 of this thread.

And 'no pace' is a ridiculous statement to make. If Roy Hodgson brought himself on up front, you'd see an example of no pace.
Suarez may not be the fastest, but he certainly isn't the slowest.

One of the many improvements on this board v bbc606 is that if you want to follow a quote back you just click on the little link button in the quote and presto hey it takes you back.

You only play us in 2 games though. The other 36 are what matter.

You were fairly ****e first half and your CM was really weak (still not as bad as spuds though) you allowed spurs to get right upto your pen area a lot, it was only that spurs have no strikers that they didn't do better with their 12 (twelve) attempts on target esp as your keeper still looks very dodgy and was again lucky not to concede from a mistake.

Plus Spurs have Aaron Lennon, the man who could bake you a cake in 5 seconds but forget to put the filling in (or the icing on...or the cherry on top...he'd forget something, whichever analogy works best.)
Jones was also lucky with that foul on Bale in the first half, which he disguised by shouting at Bale to get up.
Anyway, at the very least United have done us a favour by beating a potential rival for 4th spot.

Man United play a team that stuck a boot in less often than Schalke did and suddenly they are the best thing since sliced bread. Although I do fancy them to give Arsenal a good going over on sunday.
The proof of the pudding regarding Man United is when they meet a side that sticks a boot in. Liverpool are doing okay even though they are yet to gel as a team, 7 of the current regular 11 have only made a handful of appearances together. It was always going to take a bit of time. However it has been encouraging and as good as expected.

While we were not as good in the first half as the second we were very very good in the second. The best thing is we will only get better.

Think teams should be worried about us.

maybe good job for arsenal that frimpong is suspended, webb would have him banned for life if he tried to tackle any manu players (fairly or not).

Hopefully he should put in a better performance than the one he did in the Tyne/Wear derby, when he didn't spot a clear hand-ball on the line by a Sunderland player. He should by rights by off the list for this weekend.
Sunderland seem to be getting away with dodgey decisions as Richardson should have seen red,and Andy Carroll scored a good goal that was disallowed, Anton Ferdinand jumped up and fell down.

Teams will always worry about manu, your wide players are good enough to trouble anyone, however, your spine from midfield, defense and keeper should be enough to make any sensible manu worry.

Anderson looked very good tonight, he plays well when gets a run in the team but he tends to pick up a few injuries which affects his form, and Cleverly looks to be fitting in well.

I wouldn't say we were poor in the 1st half, it was a pretty even contest.

Tottenham may have had 12 shots but the majority of those were speculative shots from distances, barely even half chances.

Why worry? We still have a very god defence and De Gea is a good keeper. Yeh he has made a few errors but name me one keeper who hasn't. Cleverly and Anderson have started to form quite a good partnership in the middle. Still work to do but the signs are there that they could become great.

Spurs just walked through the middle of the park many times and far too easily,, the only saving grace for manu was that they were running straight through spurs midfield.
