Big fan of Lallana, but he doesn't replace any of the front 4 and if you're playing 4 attacking players as we do, you need two deeper and more controlled/defensively minded players to compliment them. Lallana doesn't fit that. Agree with what someone else said earlier, he's definitely more of a replacement for Coutinho as the more advanced midfielder who can drop a shoulder and move the ball forward. Obviously not as skillful as Coutinho, but better defensively if we wanted to be more compact for tougher opposition and drop one of the forwards so Coutinho moves up. But options! Big change for us this year.
Both our derby and the Manchester one could be off if it snows heavily. The pitches will be ok but the approaches to the ground may be slippery. What a bunch of wimps, it never stopped fans getting to games in the past and what if the odd one falls on his arse so what. Bloody namby pamby state gets on my tits. I have had some wine tonight!
kudos to me since i called it ages ago. i actually rate Henderson or to be more accurate rated him but i've been convinced for over a year that he is protecting his foot & therefore will not & cannot be anywhere near as effective as he was in his prime.
all schools close these days over the slightest sprinkling of snow - bastards never did that in my day
Exactly. Even when the ****ing pipes froze and heating didn't work lol. Your going to school whether you like it or not, tough **** (clip round the ear for moaning lol)
We had to get out of our cardboard box, which 8 of us lived in, lick the road clean with our tongues, then walk 18 miles to school and get the cane for being late, then when we got home our Dad would thrash us to sleep with his belt. You try telling the kids today and they won't believe you, bloody wimps.
If it snows and our foreigners cant play cos it's too cold and we had to pick just Brits, then I would select 433 Upfront Studge Solanke Woodburn Midfield Ox on the right Hendo in the middle Lallana on the left Defence Robertson Gomez Flannagan TAA Goalie Ward Not our best team but I think they could handle a few snowflakes (oh and the weather of course)
