Yeah I get points if a midfielder keeps a clean sheet. It's my Work league which is done in line with the Sun Fantasy Football (probably explains the stupid scoring system).

Great performance in the 2nd half. Welbeck showed he deserves a place in the squad this year, Cleverley looks more composed in midfield with every game, Smalling was excellent at right back again, Anderson capped a very good game with a very well worked goal, Rooney is looking back to his best and Young looks right at home on the left wing, even Evans had a very solid game, but for me the man of the match performance had to be Jones, he was excellent at the heart of the defense.

I still got a few reservations about Cleverley in the centre of the park. Not sure he's ready to play there at Stamford Bridge just yet, but he is getting more adept with his defensive side.

Welbeck after his goal played with such a swagger and verve. That is now I see Welbeck. A bit of Henry, a bit of arrogance, not to mention that he looks like the Fresh Prince! <laugh>

I said on a previous thread that I had a doubt or two over Jones but he looked fantastic tonight. And with more experience will keep getting better. Evans looks like the player that broke through in 2009 and would have taken Rio's place in the first team.

Smalling is such a fantastic player. I can't praise him enough.

But for me, my MOTM was Anderson. Controlled the midfield and by 60 odd minutes just dictated play. Deserved his goal, looks to push on from midfield a bit more when he can and is scoring goals so I think he might have had lots of finishing practice in training!

I wouldn't get too carried away. Not many teams are going to just roll over, the way Spurs did after the first goal.
