    Anyone on here a hoarder?

Just been doing a few jobs round the house one of which was trying to get rid of old clothes..

I end up looking at t shirt or old jeans etc and think I could wear that when gardening / walking the dog / decorating...

Then transfer them into an intermediate area of not quite being thrown away. To be forgotten about. As I rarely do gardening or indeed decorating.

Even when walkin the dog I don't like to look like a tramp.

My Mrs kids are all hoarders it seems. Can possibly part with a box that some ****ty piece of computer equipment came in. Clothes that no longer fit being kept incase they somehow shrink their bodies back to when they were 15.

All that said I went an valued a proper hoarders house the other week. Was ****ing mental. You could barely move in there. She hoarded everything. Clothes. Drinks, tinned stuff, thimbles, video games, consoles, dvds, videos, Betamax ffs.

So anyone else equally **** at throwing **** away??

I used to keep stuff 'just in case' which obviously meant never. So about a decade ago I hired a skip and put most of my life into it, it was Cathartic.

Had a mass clearout a month or so ago of the cellar. Was therapeutic.

Still have far too much **** though. That said my mrs has two kids plus we hers sons girlfriend living here so they can save a deposit for a house. So I now have 3 lazy slothernly ****ers living here. I've just swept up a few hundred cigarette ends outside my back door. I'm ****ing fuming.

I'm the same Sweats. I keep all my old **** and hide it away in various wardrobes around the house. Got a few suitcases under the bed for clothes that I may need later.

My Mrs has wardrobes full of clothes that still have the ****ing tags on. Then she has the audacity to get me to go through my stuff and get rid.

I should really bin loads off but can't quite bring myself to do it.

Cannot stand clutter. I ebay clothes that I don't use or take them to the charity shop. Every once in a while I have a purge in the house of anything that's not being used. I only have a small house so thankfully it doesn't have the room to stash loads of crap I never use <ok>

Sometimes the hit from the bong is such that it puts you into a cleaning frenzy. I have them quite often...and it turns me into a whirlwind on a mission.

I'm not a sentimental fool...unless it's to do with my parents and kids. Everything else might get caught in the whirlwind.

My Mrs throws my clothes out, sometimes just to make room for hers. When them charity bags come through the door it's like a challenge for her to see what bits of mine she can give away.

I used to have about 200 dvd's and she kept my Bottom, Office, Extras and Only Fools box sets and took the rest to some shop and got about 17p for them.

Dated a hoarder years ago and it made me realise pretty quickly that I don't need any of that kinda lifestyle.
She didn't even hoard decent stuff it was just rubbish like magazines, newspapers, plastic bags etc.
I've got about 700 CD's but don't really think that counts.

    Perks of the job mate.

This is a great time of year in my job, I've awarded a **** load of contracts over the last few months and I always get some nice Xmas gifts from my suppliers/contractors. Most of the stuff is booze and vouchers which I'll pool off in some work raffle, but the bigger ones can sometimes throw up some sweet merchandise.

We have a huge wardrobe that spans the length of the bedroom. I have a little section on the end the rest is hers.

I own 1 DVD. One More Time With Feeling. I have some Stereophonics signed CD's tucked away but that's it.

I keep personal stuff in some boxes and when we pop some Champagne on a special occasion I keep the cork and write what it was for on it so have a few of those.
