Well after all that speculation it ended up with the bloke everyone thought it would be. Be interesting to see how much control he actually has. I do think we might win on Saturday if he can make the players believe in themselves again. As he has watched a few games already he surely has an idea of who he would play and how. I like the fact we have another English manager who will obviously be able to communicate better with the players.

I certainly wouldn't have told the world's media that our tactic was to pass the ball to someone to score a goal - seriously - all he needed to do was tell us he was looking forward to working with the players - that we needed to tighten up at the back, that we needed to maintain concentration for the full 90 minutes and that he was confident that we could start moving up the league and that he's looking forward to Saturday - nothing else for now
