according to this, we're as good as up already. "Premier League club Hull City on Thursday appointed Nigel Adkins as their new head coach." http://www.thestatesman.com/sports/...appoint-nigel-adkins-as-coach-1502541079.html
Like a good performing dog I hope Nige is happy to wave on demand to the needy numpties in our crowd.
Steady on. Don't slag a section of our fans or you'll have people who love to rubbish our fans coming on to pick you up on it.
Silva & Sluts were slow wavers. Traditional wave engagement got lost in translation. The return of an English manager should re-instate the traditional rapid response English wave and all will be well and Brentford will receive a thorough mauling, mark my words. Nigel Adkins black n amber army.
I hope he does well, but his career is hardly on an upward curve, in fact if someone drew a graph, it would likely mirror Hull City AFC.
I hope someone is sending out for food, or you haven't told your missus what time you'll be home, you could be there hours. Trick is, don't ask any questions that need an answer other than yes or no!!!!
Steve Bruce's career was on a downward spiral when he joined us. So was Peter Taylor's. You could say the same about Phil Brown too. Phil Parkinson was an 'on the up' signing. I'd argue Jan Molby's was too. You can never tell how things are going to work out. Adkins will probably know that this is his last shot with a club that has top-flight ambitions, and hopefully he'll have learnt from his failures at Reading and Sheffield United. There's no telling how he'll do, but he'll have my complete and utter support for a long while.
Good luck to Nigel Adkins! BTW his surname sounds almost like russian too translated like Hellish...Ad is hell in russian. Good luck!
Why do all City fans forget Brian Little? He'd already managed Leicester and Villa before us, Bruce only went to Villa after and Queer Nigel ate us in a Leicester sandwich. Is it because he was little like Dennis Wise?
Apparently Adkins turned down a Director of Football role with us when we were in the Premier League.
