    Which is why the statisticians and pundits worked after the CL draw that ours was supposed to be the easiest group to get out of. Because both Sevilla and Spartak are not exactly top class are they? But the team has to be given credit for dealing ruthlessly with the opposition in front of them. In fact we could have lost and still gone through (is that correct?) so there was no or very little pressure if that was the case.

    The question is (which Klopp himself seemed to refer to) is whether we would maintain our focus for the next match. We all know what happened after we thrashed Maribor 7-0. We certainly don't want complacency to creep in.

    I’m still annoyed that we didn’t get 18 points from this group - we deserved to win all the matches.

    But it’s a steady start to our first CL campaign in a little while. We will have tougher opponents in the latter stages but guaranteed that we will be the one that people want to avoid as well.

    You mean we Should have rather than deserved to surely? It can happen in one match but if it happens in 3 then some players must have done something wrong. In this case our defenders. No one owes us any favours ;)

    well the Spartak in Moscow game was deffo the forwards who screwed up & to a large extent in the first Sevilla game also.
