I've collected antiques, paintings, bronzes and the like for years.

I'm not an expert but I know a decent amount, and I certainly know what I like. I'm fairly certain that virtually every piece I've ever bought has increased in value, which isn't something you can generally say for modern furniture and wall art.....

I had a 1978 musicman stingray bass guitar that I bought for £600 in the mid 90’s. The company changed hands in 1980 so between the years of 1976 and 1980 the guitars produced then are becoming increasingly rare.

I sold my bass around the turn of the century as I needed to buy a new car and it was the only thing I had that was worth anything. Regret that now as they are worth £2k upwards and will only increase in value.

I’ve got another stingray now, just a stock model from 2005. It’s still a great guitar, but lacks the soul of the early basses.

I’ve got a painting by the prisoner Charles Bronson (or Salvador as he is today). Was given it. Reckon it’s worth over a grand now. Will be worth more when he croaks.

I have a john parish snooker cue that my lad used and his mate asked him if he wanted yo sell it.

My lad asked me if he could as he has another Ronnie O'Sullivan branded one which he prefers.

I laughed and told him to look it up on eBay. The model I have was on auction for £3k and still going. Another was starting at £600

I paid the princely sum of about £10 for it, new.

I’ve got some genuine Rolex watches that I bought off this bloke who got them from a mate’s brother’s friend who apparently used to work for Rolex.

If you PM me I’ll do you a special price. <ok>

My brother's got a VW Corrado. It was his first car and he kept it. Must be 25 years old now. Apparently it's worth a few quid as they're collectables. I know nothing about cars.

I'm wondering if we can do a trade? I've got some Georgian digital carriage clocks in the back of the Reliant Robin.
